Watto's Junk Yard / Wake up with the Sith!
« on: November 19, 2004, 10:46 AM »

Are you ready for Black Friday, the busiest shopping day of the year?

Are you looking for a reliable wake-up call to make sure that you don't oversleep and miss the doorbuster bargains?

Well then, this one's for you!  Target has set up a website where you can register for a free wake-up call from a number of celebrities, including Darth Vader!  Head on over now to register for your wake-up call from the Dark Lord himself!

And don't forget to go HERE to watch the Vader + Heidi Klum mini-film if you haven't seen it yet!

Can it be?  The fantabulous Disney hunter extraordinaire Sharon doesn't have a feedback thread here at JD.com yet?

Well then, I'm proud to start one with a +1 report!

Another great deal with Darthshader!  Great communication and super-fast payment!  No hassel and all professional!  Thanks again for taking some stuff off my hands!  :)

Seller miyatoys has the first wave of the upcoming Star Wars Titanium Series up for bid on eBay!  This first wave includes the Falcon, a TIE Fighter, Slave 1, and an X-Wing.

This planned exclusive line of die-cast classic Star Wars vehicles is set to debut next spring along side the Episode 3 preview figures and should retail for around $4.99 each.

Details are still sketchy about wave 2, but look for future waves to branch out into Prequel vehicles as well!

Watto's Junk Yard / The Incredibles!
« on: November 6, 2004, 11:00 AM »
Well,

My wife and I went out to dinner with a few friends last night and decided to see a movie afterwards.  There was indecision all around on what to see, so I talked them into The Incredibles.

Episode 3 Prview aside (which ROCKED on the big screen), the movie was actually REALLY good.  Kind of like how a James Bond/Superhero movie should be.

Once again, Pixar is able to crank out a movie where the characters are very well thought out and VERY human.  I'm not going to offer up any spoliers (since this is the start of the thread), but it was a pretty great movie!  Anyone else catch this one last night?

Jeff

ps.
Also had a preview for next year's Pixar movie - Cars.

Hi All,

Just wanted to report in on a deal I've got going...

I sold some extra stuff to Jesse, and he was right quick to respond to my PMs and he sent out payment with lightning speed!

How fast you ask?  Well, we started dealing, closed the deal, AND he sent payment all in the same day!  Can't get much faster than that!   ;)

Thanks again for the quick and easy transaction, Jesse!

 :) A++++

Dear Hasbro,

Since you seem intent on contantly re-releasing this action figure, I thought I'd help you by listing all the potential new ways that you could continue to milk this figure for all that it's worth (because obviously, re-using this mold at least 7 times isn't enough for you).

1. Cantina Showdown 2-pack - Cantina Han vs. Cantina Greedo w/Cantina Bar "booth" Section
2. Cantina Apology 2-pack - Cantina Han & Wuher w/ U-shaped Bar End Section
3. Cantina Drinks 2-pack - Cantina Han with "Jenny" (Delete Scene) w/Cantina Wall Section
4. Cantina Booth 2-pack - Cantina Han & Dejarik Chewie and Cantina Bar "Booth" Section
5. Unfinished Scene 2-pack - Cantina Han with human "Jabba" fat dude

OR, if you just need some help with the names you can give him as you constantly re-card him...
6. Han Solo (Hangar 94 Escape)
7. Han Solo (Final Greedo Duel)
8. Han Solo (Showdown at Chalmun's)
9. Han Solo (Kessel Run Pilot)
10. Han Solo (I Didn't Shoot First)
11. Han Solo (Smuggler Pilot)
12. Han Solo (Chewbacca's Friend)
13. Han Solo (Milennium Falcon Pilot)
14. Han Solo (Silver 30th Anniversary Edition)
15. Han Solo (Imperial Academy Drop-Out) - EU!
16. Han Solo (Will Work for Credits)
17. Han Solo (Maybe I did Shoot First?)
18. Han Solo (Mos Eisley Encounter)
19. Han Solo (In Debt to Jabba)
20. Han Solo (Ship for Hire)

Your Pal,

The Gophers are only ranked #7?  BAH!   >:(

WCHA has 6 teams in the top 15... it's going to be a good year!

Who needs the NHL anyway?

Well...

I got into SW - JtL beta testing and have been flying around the last few nights.

It's safe to say that it is nothing like I thought it would be and is a disappointment after all the waiting and all the things (Combat Rebalance, Nerfed Professions, Revamops, Needed Content) that were delayed to get JtL out the door.

Once WoW hits, I might be done with Galaxies... unless I get my Jedi before then.

Hmmm...

No dedicated thread yet for these guys, so I may as well start one with this nugget:

Seems like there may be pictures of Felitpern Trevagg and Dannikk Jericho in the latest issue of SW Insider.  Anyone got this issue yet to confirm?
