We're currently at 11,461 with 22 days left.  The rate of backer increase has slowed significantly.  How confident is everyone feeling about hitting 13K within 3 weeks?  Do you think the Season 2 premier will lead to a surge in support?

In order to reach 13k by the deadline, they need to have 69 new backers per day.  I believe that the project is currently exceeding that right now....although not by much.

It's going to happen, I expect them to open more to the international markets before November.

It has a little over 1200 to go in the next 20 days, so I'm thinking tier 3 will be unlocked no problem. Hopefully the Razor Crest doesn't get blown up or anything in the first episode, leading to a bunch of cancellations.

We're now at 11,803.  It seems to have started moving again, and we're less than 1200 backers away from that tier 3 unlock.  That seems doable with 20 days left.

No kidding!  Only need to average 59 per day now.

I bet they'll make more available overseas to push it over the line.

That’s kind of my thought as well. I almost ordered two at the outset, but held off. There’s a part of me that wants to get one to keep MIB since this will no doubt be a popular item.

I can't say the thought hasn't crossed my mind. I never thought about getting a second barge, but this one has some customization potential. I wouldn't buy one for the investment, but I guess there'd be the option of selling off the carded figures.

I looked it up because I made a bet with a friend that Hasbro would pull in more $ for this than the barge.  He thinks this will never sell as well as the Barge did (OT elitist! )

8840 Barges @ $500 each = $4,420,000

Going to have to sell 12,629 Razor Crest to beat that dollar amount.  6-pack of Surly on the line!

We cracked 12K overnight.  Officially, it's 12,009 as of 5:00 AM ET, with 16+ days to go.  We have to average about 62 backers per day to hit 13K.

As of 6:30 ET this morning we're at 12,124.  And there's still 14 days, 18 hours to go.  That would require about 2.5 new backers per hour in the remaining time to hit the 13K mark.
