I picked up the "unmasked" Rocket Grenade Cap, mostly so I could use the head for customs, but it's not a bad figure. I'd prefer wrist or torso articulation over ball-jointed hips, but I don't miss the lack of ankles at all.

Question for the customizers...or maybe anyone. My Comic two pack Storm has a knee peg that is protruding. Is there a good, safe way for me to pop it back in?

Holy ****...that was a long way off back then.  For some reason I thought your post was about his first leg.

In this case, I'll let you know how it goes.  Don't know how I'll fare on the psychedelic substance front, but I'm sure I'll imbibe something.

The series finale on Netflix is not the same series finale that was broadcast...I mean, at least not the "very special ending."

A long way off, but I scored seats for the Roger Waters "The Wall" tour.  This is the second show in Winnipeg as the first show sold out in ten minutes.  Hoping the second sells out as quickly as I was able to score presale tickets.

How was this, Brent? I've got tickets to see it next month in Phoenix.

I don't know, but it's beyond frustrating.  Sometimes I'd like to quit this hobby altogether because of the approach Hasbro takes.

It's nice that Hasbro has helped make that decision for some of us, given that the distribution is equally as ****** as the case packs.  I haven't seen new VOTC figures in months (all I ever see are TPM peg warmers)

I think maybe Hasbro needs to go back to basics with the Joes.  There was something magical about the early 1980s stuff that is still awesome...

I could not agree more with this.  They totally missed the boat with their last two animated endeavors.  Resolute, as cool as it may have been for the dorky adult fans who want everything Nolanized and gritty, sure didn't gain any kid viewers.  While softer, Renegades required way too much to follow and took too long to introduce other Joes for most kids.  When there were introductions of guys like Airtight or Breaker or Shipwreck, they were essentially glorified cameos.

My kid is 8 and he watched almost every episode of Renegades with me, but he vastly prefers the old school cartoons.  There's a very simple formula, and with the exception of a few two parters or mini-series things, it all gets wrapped up in a single episode where a few key good guys fight a few key bad guys.  That **** works.

I watch the old toons all the time, and they're brilliant 30 minute commercials that highlight a few main staples (e.g. Snake Eyes, Duke, Scarlett, etc.), but give everybody else a chance to shine, which makes you want to go out and add that guy to your collection.  Giving the characters distinct personalities, even if they were stereotypes, was brilliant.

If they'd go back to basics, I think the line could do extremely well with kids as well as adult collectors.

Marvel's doing a wonderful job of this with its Avengers cartoon, by the way.

Yeah, that wasn't my finest moment.  But still, that was a better deal than what I got you in your pre-nup agreement.

I sent off for five earlier this week. Hope I wasn't too late. Damn procrastinators...

Yeah, I think they are re-stocking these. I saw two sets of each at a Wal-Mart today.

I am so jealous. She looks fantastic.  Awesome job. And where did that Johnny Storm come from? Is he a custom, too? I don't think I've ever seen that version that matches.

That phasing Sue is amazing dude.

You've come such a long way, Rob. If Deanpaul hadn't died in a canyon down under, he would be so proud of you.

I think iPads are what you make them; the app library is astonishing.  I'm amazed at the amount of work specific apps that are available in my field--it's truly revolutionizing the legal industry.

Plus you can play Angry Birds on it.

I picked up an unmasked Dark Wolverine for trade bait; this line looks great.

Weird...my Crimson HISS had two backpacks, too (including extra mines).  I didn't have the other problems, though.  Those are a bummer.
