I just don't recall Theon/Reek ever letting the real info about Bran and Rickon's true fate getting exposed to Ramsey Snow and thereby Roose Bolton.

Ramsey was there as previous Reek, so he knows the truth about Bran and Rickon.  I don't think he ever told Papa, though:

From ASOIAF wiki:

Quote
Ramsay is taken as a prisoner to Winterfell in the guise of Reek. After Theon Greyjoy captures Winterfell, Ramsay exchanges a vow of service to Theon for his release.[8] He quickly becomes one of Theon's more trusted attendants, assisting Theon in his hunt to bring the escaped Bran and Rickon Stark back to Winterfell. He orchestrates Theon's cover-up of the Stark boys' escape by killing two peasant boys of an age with the Starks, and then flaying the corpses to avoid recognition. Theon presents their flayed corpses as the Starks, then has their heads mounted on spikes over the castle walls. With the approval of Theon, Ramsay kills Gelmarr, Aggar and Gynir, ironborn who knew the truth about the bodies. Theon uses the Winterfell kennelmaster Farlen as a scapegoat and has him executed for the murders. Theon contemplates killing Reek too, but thinks better of it, fearing the servant had written and hidden an account of the truth.

Loved last night's episode.  As a book reader (but not a book purist.  Those guys are ********), I loved being surprised for once.  And since Bran has only like 2.5 chapters left from where we are to where he ends up in ADWD as a tree, I'm ok with them slowing things down and having them show me more.

I had the biggest **** eating grin when that was all going down (I knew what was coming) and was trying to hide it from my wife.  She was more shocked by Joffrey's death (she expected him to die at some point, just not at the wedding and like that) than the Red Wedding.

Loved the way they did the dwarfs, slightly different from the books, but effective.

I'm thinking about the next 'holy ****' moment non-readers will flip out on.  There's certainly a few more coming this season.

-Cersei and Jaime ******* over Joffery's rotting corpse
-Battle at the Wall and Stannis' arrival
-Red Viper vs the Mountain
-Tyrion killing Shae and then Tywin
-Lady Stoneheart

Yeah Scott, me too.  Total geek weekend started with GIJoeCommunity last night and ends with Cap tomorrow and GoT Sunday.  Throw in the emotional ring ceremony for the Sox this afternoon and it'll be a good four days.

I love Community, but my vote goes to Happy Endings.

Loved it.  I want figures of Wingman, Tight Ship, Buzzkill, Fourth Wall, Three Kids and the rest.

And I'm not 100% certain, but I think they used the original voice actors for Duke and Flint.

#4 - In the last episode with Carol and Tyrese, the girls see a stack of smoke followed by a swarm of freshly cooked zombies.  Any thoughts on where they came from?

The hillbilly palace Daryl and Beth burned after they hugged their feelings out.

Shouldn't be too hard to tell which figure is which being that there's lots of unique parts - pie & hair for Krusty, bat for Nelson, sax for Lisa, Marge's hair, etc.  Milhouse and Ralph will probably be a bitch considering they both have short legs and the tile with the only difference their heads.

And a dollar bump to $3.99 each.

I was thinking about getting the house, but I'll probably just stick to the minifigures.  Would like to see another wave, some classic characters still left - Moe, Barney, Sideshow Bob, Otto, Ms. Crabapple, Principal Skinner, Supernintendo Chalmers, Comic Book Guy, Smithers, etc.  Christ, you can probably do two more waves of minifigs and still have plenty of characters left to pick from.

1st trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy.

Love it.  The general public might not know who the **** these a-holes are, but hopefully with future trailers and a big marketing push (likely centered around Rocket and Groot), it'll do decent business.  Definitely has a Star Wars feel.

And the lead singer of Mouserat is perfectly cast.

Can someone explain why the younger girl's shoe was at the scene of the walker attack when Daryl got there, but she was still wearing them as they walked down the train tracks?

Inconsistent writing.

Mattel and ToyGuru can shove these up their ass.  A bunch of repaints, a stupid ass multi colored GL as Riddler and unarticulated Mxy for $30 each as the final "thank you" to DCIE fans?  **** that.  I've been a loyal supporter since wave 1 and put up with repaints, minimal new tooling, a bull**** deputy Lantern wave and a even more bull**** Super Powers wave because I'd hope it would lead to a real Doomsday, KGBeast, Suicide Squad, Ragdoll, etc.  And then Mattel blames the fans because we didn't reach the levels necessary to get that Doomsday, even though it was their fault by the constant above repaints and minimal new tooling, Digital Rivers beyond inept costumer service and outrageous shipping prices (not to mention extremely slow) and subscribing of the sub without knowing the full lineup (Batzarro as the last figure?  Another bull**** example) finally caused enough people to jump ship.

DCIE was clearly the red headed step child compared to MOTUC, who can get add on subs, beast mounts, lots of new tooling, Castle Grayskull, etc.  And don't give me that bull**** that MOTU fans talked with their money and signed up.  If DC fans got Granny Goodness, Doomsday, Ragdoll, Aztek, Suicide Squad and numerous other examples instead of figures like Kamandi, deputy Lanterns, Cyclotron and Golden Pharaoh, they would have signed up too.

I hope they choke on these figures.  I'll buy Mxy off of ebay from China if I want him, which I'm still debating because it's a **** figure honestly.

So - after this episode do you think it is even more likely that Lizzie killed Karen and Dave (?)?  She was clearly showing some sociopathic behaviors tonight.  Mutilating small animals and trying to suffocate a baby are pretty clear signs.......

I thought it was pretty obvious that all signs point to Lizzie as being the one to kill Tyrese's girl and the other dude, not Carol and her being the one feeding the rats and doing any dissecting.  The naming of the zombies, the playing in the pool of blood with her foot after someone died from the virus a few episodes back, her leading the infected zombie away almost like a dog (here boy, come here boy), the small handprint Rick found and as seen last episode, she's one hell of a ******* shot.

That girl has future serial killer written all over her.  She'd be perfect for Carl.

This week was certainly much better than last week.  That must be because I'm not a Rick or Carl fan and TV Michonne sucks compared to comic Michonne.  Forgot all about Abraham showing up, so that got me by surprise.

Still doesn't hold a candle to True Detective, however.

So TWD isn't willing to kill off popular characters?  T-DOG? Shane? Andrea?

Those are the examples you give?  TV show Andrea absolutely sucked compared to comic Andrea (my favorite comic character BTW).  T-Dog?  There were times he didn't say literally one word during an episode.  Shane I might give you, but he was becoming emotionally unstable at the end because Lori wouldn't **** him anymore.  And he lasted a hell of a lot longer than comic Shane ever did.

I would have said Dale (I was shocked by the brutality of that death) or Hershel.  Two characters, who for the most part, most people seemed to like.  I don't think I've seen anyone whose favorite character was T-Dog or Andrea.  In fact, other than Carl, I think Andrea might have been one of the most hated characters on the show.

Kill off Daryl, Rick or Michonne.  That'll get people talking.

And by the way, I like this show.  I wouldn't be reading this thread if I didn't.  I just don't think it's the end all be all of great TV.  I liken Walking Dead to Sons of Anarchy.  I like SoA but those characters do stupid **** and the writing sucks compared to Justified or previously The Shield.  If I don't like a show, I don't watch.  I gave up on Agents of Shield because I thought it sucked and this is coming from someone who loves every single one of Marvel's cinematic movies (even IM2)

Thanks for the heads up.

You're welcome.

Sneak preview of Episode 11: Rick, Carl, and Michonne clear another house.

Wrong, that's episode 12.  Episode 11 focuses on the other dumb characters we didn't see in episode 9 (except Daryl, he ain't dumb and Maggie, she hot).
