Me too. I mostly work on my customs in the evenings, so most of the time there's at least a 20 hour gap between it. Greenstuff is quite sticky though, you really should keep a bowl of water nearby to keep your sculpting tools and fingers moist.

I've only just begun working with sculpting materials. Tried Sculpey III for shoulder armor, but like others said, that broke to easy. I now use Greenstuff from Games Workshop. I made a belt and a towel. Very tough material and indeed, it cures rock hard.

Great b/g story for Kellen, which is a great figure, Dre. And having him named after your son, really puts the finishing touch to this already excellent figure. I like the colour scheme very much, very subtle.

I'm anxious to see your version of Jacen. Obi-Wan's head can look totally different with even the slightest change to his beard.

Indeed, the accessories are great! Nice background story too.

Snow you say? Lucky you! That's your chance to prep some Snowtroops, man!

Thanks for the feedback! It was a real pleasure making this figure, probably because most of it went quite smoothly. I'm really considering making three more of these, with this one being the squad leader....

But first, I'll make a fat guy.

D_N, already commented on this mighty fine trooper at GalacticArchives, but I'd just like to say I am in awe of the amount and of the quality of customs you've made so far. I just browsed through a lot of these 38 pages and I seriously say hat's off, man.  8)

And your vehicle modifications/paint jobs are of an outstanding quality. Those ARCs are truely terrific.

I like 'em, Snaggletooth. Great blending of parts. The "braid-3po" is very good. Simple (it seems) yet very effective.

My favourites are the braid-3po,  the Duro, Pruneface, Pablo Jill and the Walrus Man. Sorry to have used these common names. Have you named the yet?

Aw, those lil' Jawas have a toy sandcrawler. How cute is that! Great tiny customs, EUCustomMan! I totally adore those little rugcrawlers  ;D

The details look great, JediDre. I like the black lines and small insignias on the helmet. As for the belt: maybe you could make our own from a strip of vinyl sheet, like Outrider does? You could glue all the little extras on that then, except that second ammo pack.

The paint looks a bit dull, though. I think Fordo needs a semi-gloss varnish on his armor.  :)

Great paint work on Gragra, although those big red eyes do freak me out a little. Then again, so does her entire face!

Same goes for the Dathomir creature. From what I've read in the novels, Dathomir isn't the cosiest place to hang around, mainly because of its residents... Excellent low profile paint on that er... being.

The Clone Trooper looks green, man! As in fresh from the training grounds, that is. Nice straight lines there and the colour of the visor is a nice change as well.

Well, I think you've un-Obi-Wanned the head pretty good. Again, the paint apps are top notch. The hands and helmet could be fitted a little better, though. But I think you used a #41 helmet, instead of the AT-TE Gunner's, right?

342
Best custom ever! Congrats, Phruby, kids are the best thing that can happen to ya!!

And the last pieces of Marine armour casts as well  ;)

Erm.... yeah, no gripes here either. Assembly looks crisp and those GTG casts look great! Black and charcoal sounds like a cool combo, as well.

I just posted my latest, a special Commando, which is also black, but I used a slight blue wash. Hardly noticeable in the pics, but in real life it gives quite a nice effect.

I finished work on Clone RC-J1406, part of a specially trained group of Commandos, skilled in hunting down and battling Jedi. Like I said in my last WIP update, this guy wears custom made cortosis alloy armor, which can take a blow or two from lightsaber strikes  8). I got that idea from those nasty dudes in the game JK2: Jedi Outcast. He also carries a backpack which can supply him with some sort of stimulant that will enhance his reflexes and stamina. Pretty handy when fighting those pesky lil' Jedi. 1406 lost his left hand in one of those encounters and had it replaced with a robotic/cyborg hand.

Recipe:
- Scorch figure (obviously) with modified helmet
- AT-TE Gunner's head
- Saga/OTC Snowtrooper shoulder plates
- Cmdr. Bacara belt
- custom made kama by Outrider (thanks man!)
- Scorch missiles (backpack) with hose from Saga AT-AT Driver helmet
- shortened Clone rifle

As always, feel free to share your likes and dislikes  :)
