Wat and Coleman both look very nice, but the face on Padme looks terrible.  I think Hasbro could have done a better job with her.

I was really looking forward to that Padme, and when I saw that face, it was a bit of a letdown; but, then again, that balcony is pretty cool  

And yes, the colors do look a bit brite on Wat.  I remember him being entirely silver in the movie, but I could be wrong.

unfortunately, I've gotten really bad about finding all the inconsistancies w/ the figures. (I compared 'preview' Zam to the picture on the card for the longest time.   ) and aleady Wat is getting the same treatment.

the figure does seems to lack the smooth shiny surface of the movie (close ups show a 'dented' surface); but, again, the holo ship adds a lot.

I hadn't heard that one.
That's one of my favorite (and for a loooong time, most wanted) figures; but, come on, as much of  pegwarmer that was, Id much rather see a 'htf' figure repackaged. I'd change my mind a little if theyd add some aaccessories, but, past experince tells me they won't.

I almost think I remember that. I know I saw the Anakin and Fett (pictured on the back) They're not 12" like the Collector series or Action Collection; they're more like the Applause vinyl figs. I saw them around Christmas at Wal-Mart. I don't remember seeing a Vader (may have actually been 'rare'?), but, I did see the others shown on  the back.

I'm curious which coat Dodonna will come with - the long trenchcoat from the end ceremony scene, or the more regular looking flight jacket that he's got on throughout the final battle scene (don't recall which he was wearing in the planning scene).

I believe Dodonna wears the trenchcoat during the Deathstar 'lecture' and at the awards ceremony and the flight jacket during the 'tracking screen' sequence
it'd be great if they could find a way to do it like the POTF2 Han Solo [Endor Gear] (as long as they don't screw it  up).

Did the Holiday c3po and r2 ever show up at retail

yeah, it showed up at Wal-Mart before Christmas (I found it Nov. 30) and most seem to have been bought up (I've seen 1 since Christmas).
As for the figs, I saw Clone Pilot, Jango pilot, and Endor Soldier 2 at Wal-Mart and KB; Acklay at Wal-Mart ; of course, this was before the holidays. I heard reports of the Deluxe Clonetrooper/Ephant Mon, but, never saw them myself.
Haven't heard anything on the Cantina 2 (my WM has tons of  the first set on the pegs since just before Christmas)

This may be too far off topic, but, has anyone been able to connect the Bespin weathervane 'horizontally'? I've tried a few times, but, the plastic is so soft, the post bends everytime
Now, it  it does fit fine 'vertically', but, theres no way to display it that way.
