Who is the guy in the hood that keeps showing up?  Can't be Doom...?

I believe the "mysterious figure in hood" is Dr. Doom, who is supposed to have a more traditional "comic book" look at some point in this movie.  We'll see I guess.

Ahh yup, note that the image below maybe a spoiler. Took me awhile to find the pic that CountingDown.com posted as it was removed from the site.

CountingDown.com has the first image of Dr. Doom in his new costume in “Fantastic Four: Rise of The Silver Surfer.”

That Silver Surfer trailer is amazing. I think i am honestly more excited for this than Spider-Man 3.

WOW!  That armor looks awesome!  I hope they do a good job with the storyline.  Anyone know who Iron Man's first villian will be?  Mandarin seems like the most likely to me...

I was told war machine is in it but the 'extras' said there wasn't anyone else in the scenes they did here at this location.

I'm pretty sure it is supposed to be Mandarin, although casting hasn't been announced yet that I know of.

Thanks for posting that pic/link Dale, it seems that the Doom pics have been taken down most places.  I guess there is another Doom pic that floated around yesterday/today as well, but I haven't seen it.  It seems to be an improvement over the look of the last movie, hopefully the movie is better as well.  The trailers look good so far.

I have to disagree. I thought is was good, not amazing but good. It was better than Daredevil, Hulk, and Elektra in my opnion. This new one looks like it will be awesome.

..and I agree with everything too except whether it will be 'awesome' or not- I won't speculate on that since I remember getting hyped up for the first F4 then saw it and rated it as just a 'good'-- certainly nowhere near the ratings I gave for Spiderman movies....I'd even put it under the Xmen flicks too.

It sounds like Liv Tyler will be playing Betty Ross in the new Incredible Hulk movie.

A buddy of mine saw the pre-screening for Spidey 3 yesterday and thought it was pretty lame.  Sounds like the symbiote finding Peter is totally random, which is lame that it would just happen to pick him out of everyone in NY.  He also said Sandman has a tiny role, and that he and venom are barely in the film.  What gives?  Sounds like 2 hours of love story/peter dancing around in black vs. 20 minutes of action.   :-\

*without saying all that happened ::)*

Alot of the reviews I seen said it wasn't that good a movie.

It wouldn't suprise me considering many pretty big movies that the sequels were busts OR not as good as their predecessors. Could this be the summer for bad sequels?
