Well I got LOTR:TTT and it is an awesome game, the medling of Movie and Game footage is really awesome.  I beat Fangorn Forest last night with Aragorn.  Great graphics, not terribly difficult and excellent use of the LOTR score make this an OCB 9 Kissies out of 10

JD Sports Forum! / Re: NFL draft
« on: April 24, 2003, 10:39 AM »
Saturday ranks right up there with me for all time time wasters...it seriously is one of my favorite days of the year.  I am a sick, sick man!

ANyway the Vikes have the #7 pick this year and I am actually hoping they trade down unless Suggs is still available.  They need D-Line help and I am not totally sold on Kennedy from Penn State or CB Trufant out of Wash St.

Me and my buddies have 2 Mock Draft Games every year, the NBA Lottery one which is called the Scott E. Roth Memorial Cup for Excellence in Mock NBA Drafting) and the NFL Draft which is called the Esera Tuaolo Memorial Cup for Excellence in Mock NFL Drafting.  We actually have two little trophies that go around to each house and it resides there until the next year.

Anyway here are my picks for the first 15:

#1 Cincy Carson Palmer
#2 Detroit Charles Rogers
#3 Houston Andre Johnson
#4 Chicago Dewayne Robertson
#5 Dallas Terrance Newman
#6 Arizona Terrell Suggs
#7 Minnesota Jimmy Kennedy
#8 Jacksonville Byron Leftwich
#9 Carolina Marcus Trufant
#10 Baltimore Kyle Boller
#11 Seattle Jordan Gross
#12 Saint Louis Boss Bailey
#13 New York Jets Kevin Williams
#14 New England Jonathan Sullivan
#15 San Diego Chris Kelsay

This year has a ton of DT's available, in fact up to 7 or 8 could go in the first round.  Which is amazing...should be fun!

There are a whole bunch of Wisconsin/MInnesota word differences...
which I am trying to think of right now

I know one is Drinking Fountain

I just saw the report and agree with you Jesse, I think it is a stupid idea.  There is a fine line of nostolgia that needs to be walked with the films and having the walking carpet come back makes no sense to me.

The only OT charcters that should be around are:

R2-D2
C-3PO
Yoda
Obi-Wan
Anakin/Vader
Palpatine

PErhaps I can see:
Tarkin
Dodonna
Mon Mothma
Other rebel leaders
Bail Organa (who was a speck on Alderaan)

Having traveled in the South, that is one of the funniest things about going there.

"What'll you have hon, Coke?"
"Sure"
"What kind?"
"???, Coke"
"What kind of Coke?"

That was far from a horrible game FX-7!  One of the best ones I have ever seen, beside the '01 Gophers Championship and the Elk River High School class of '93 State Tournament games :P

One of the most burning questions of our times happens to be what you call your favorite soft drink...

I'm a pop man myself

I don't think those sets are official Kubrick products are they (the Vader, Stormtroopers, Han and Luke etc)  I think those are Bootlegs...

Man was Troy Hudson on fire tonight, why couldn't they have done this on Sunday?  At least they will be coming back to Minnesota for Game 5 :-[  Now we need the Wild to score a goal and go to Round 2 before the Wolves do!
