Scored the following this morning:

3x Anakin
3x Cody
5x Clonetrooper Phase 2

Now that the packaging style has changed, I think I'm gonna drop getting repacks of the Clone Wars line. I just don't see a point to it...

Made a few stops over lunch just to see what was cooking on the Big Release Day. Jack squat apparently.

Walmart came in cheapest for new TCW figures at $8.96. Target was a close second at $8.99. TRU has the early lead at $9.99.

I saw the new Wave 1 figures all over, pretty much the same stuff at every store. Every Chewie I look at seems to have a different paint job than the last.  ::)

MEH.

Fun trip to TRU today.

I figured I would stop by over lunch to return the 5 new TCW figures I bought over a week ago and re-purchase them with the new Buy-2 Get-1 Free deal. Best case scenario I expected to get $9.99 back in my pocket and an extra free action figure to take home.

Somehow in the process of handling the return though, I ended up with $20.99 and the extra figure. So yeah, I ended up getting 6 figures for $30...not too shabby at all. Gotta love the New Math!

It was kinda fun picking something out of pure whimsy...I ended up going with the still pegwarming Puko Naga, coming off his recent appearance on the show. Did not realize he had unarticulated legs...ugh.

Taking advantage of the Buy 2-Get 1 Free sale, I scored MOC versions of the Clone Wars re-packs and I also scored another four Phase 2 Clonetroopers to bring my open count up to 8.

I also grabbed another one of the Clonetrooper battlepack as well.

Took a quick pass by Target to survey the TCW clearance offerings. No Deluxe vehicles to be found, but the BP's were marked down to $9.98 and the Shuttle was down to $39.98.

No sign of clearance prices on the old SOTDS figures, but I didn't scan them to confirm either.

Confirmed SOTDS figures are now priced down to $3.94 at Targets around town. I thought about picking up a Hevy for that price but ultimately passed. Will hit a few more up tonight and see if I can find a better selection. Also hoping to find a Defend Kamino BP for $10...or maybe an HMP for $12.

Ugh, slim pickings on clearance swag. All I found were a few Cad Bane's Escape and Assault on Geonosis BP's, 1 Hunt for Grievous BP, an AAT, and a smattering of El-Les, Obi-Wan, and SBD's.

No sign at all anywhere of any clearanced Deluxe sets, which is what I was really hoping to see.

I did bite on the  Cad Bane BP since that is a figure I've wanted loose for awhile now.

I got a Republic Scout Speeder thing for 50% off, which is sweet.  Passed on an extra Castas but if I see it again who knows.  Also passed on Grievous.

Saw Shuttles of course.  Even at $40 they may take a while to go.

TONS of Vinty 3-packs.  I mean, if that isn't a failure, I don't know what is.

Also some of the Geo Arena 2-packs that were lingering like a fart in a car.

Hilarious. God only know why they have been around so long.

I saw the AT-RT with the ram horns on the side clearanced at a Wal-Mart for $13. Not super cheap, but decent compared to new prices. This same wal-mart clearanced their only 3 remaining vintage figures to $4.50 (yeah, they had  new movie heroes and clone wars out, but no new vintage on pegs).

I finally find a Castas Deluxe set last night at Walmart, but it scanned at full price so I left it. Weird.

deluxe never clearanced at wm here.  I think weird is more applicable to actually finding it or vintage on clearance.  Those seemed to just carry forward in my neck of the woods.

Saw the Mobile Artillery Cannon for about 30% off at Target today. Came to about $17.50 or so, very tempting. I tried to sort of stash it behind some less desirable swag in the hopes this store might go down to 50% like all the others around here and I can pull the trigger.
