Another film with Mark Hamil recently released:

Has anyone seen this re-edit yet?  I liked the original.  This one has quite a bit added back in.  The original cut of this was like 4 hours long I believe.

Anyone else plan on grabbing this oddity? It's a Best Buy exclusive, Dave Chappelle's short lived movie business sitcom called "Buddies". It's a 10 episode disc, so they say, although 13 episodes were created, and only 5 aired.

$10, it's a unique addition, would fill out my Chappelle DVD collection, and make for an interesting conversation piece. It won't be for rent, or available anywhere else, so it's sort of a Best Buy monopoly. Thankfully, it's cheap.

I picked this up today:

I know a lot of people don't watch this show, but I really think it is hilarious.  Probably one of my favorite shows of all time, a good one to just sit down and laugh at.  I'm hoping to pick up Seinfeld Season 4 as well, or get it for a b-day present next month, but money is a little thin right now to buy more DVDs :).

No one interested in The Grudge:Director's Cut? I picked that one up on Friday, because I couldn't wait 'till today.

I searched high and low for the X Files: Mythology Vol. 1 set, only to find it was delayed until 6/7. Not too happy, but kind of nice, having just spent $180 on all 4 seasons of CSI this week.

Not interested in anything else this week, next week however is pretty big with Chappelle's Show Season 2, and the 2 discers of Man on Fire, Day After Tomorrow, and I, Robot.

I returned my copy of Saw since I heard there's a director's cut planned for the release of Saw 2 in October.  Picked up The Grudge director's cut and the unrated Team America dvds... Also bought Golden Girls Season 2 and the Princess Bride as supplemental birthday gifts for the girlfriend.

Thanks for the input fellas.  So far I like the way the reviews are written at DVD Talk and the upcoming list seems complete so I will stay informed on dvds.

A barebones release for Sin City is rumored to be coming in August, but go ahead and wait on the better version.
