I'm pretty happy with the selection.  It would be nice to get Gree over the other two chase  IMO, so glad he's the easier one of the three.  I won't complain if I get Grievous or Tion, but would probably try to trade them for other previous rares.

Please tell me that you don't have that set up in your kitchen.

HAhaha!  I can't even imagine...

Very nice score Carpet - that looks better than the Ebay photos and still a great deal for the price.  Nice collection photos too - those wall cabinets are cool.

Wow, that is the mintiest Snags I think I've seen yet.  Nice non-dent version as well!  What did you pay for it back in the day?

One end of it is "keyed" to fit in the hole only one way and then wraps around his neck.

Nice - thanks for the reference pics Jay!  I didn't make the connection that Yak had photo archives of Kubies too!

Yes, that is a good price & shipping to you is not bad. Way better than shipping to Canada... $21.00.  ::)

I picked up my last one to make a set of band members at C4 for $15.

Okay, I went ahead and bought this and got free shipping because I ordered something else from the seller.  Yay!  It arrived yesterday and looks cool next to my Japan version.  In addition tot he 2 flue-like pieces, it comes with some kind of large bent horn devise and a bent wire frame that looks like it should plug into the bigger gray horn thing.  There's even a hole for it on the horn thing, but mine doesn't seem to fit and I can't see how it would fit onto the figure anyway.  I'm not seeing the wire frame thing pictured in the checklist either.  Anyone got an inside scoop on this or know what the heck I'm talking about?

Thanks for the background on this - very helpful.  That link also provides a great read on the netiquette of using ALL CAPS.  Pretty funny stuff.   :)

These were already $5 off at my local Target.  Already a pricecut, go figure.

You mean they were $40 or $35?

We can all share a great laugh when Fury is released on a Marvel Comics Legends card next June at the then lowered Wal-Mart price of $6.99.   :P

I have seen these BS's go for cheap lately & with bin's. This BS went for a song even tho the torso is faded!

$45?  That's crazy.  The torso color difference would drive me nuts, but the boot and hand paint is really nice.

I have a question on the toe dent.  What's the background on this?  Is either version more rare than the other?  I have a spare toe dented BS for trade if anyone has one without the dent.

It looks like the website is now up for the Nick Fury mailaway figure.  It looks like you have to fill out a form, pay $4.99 shipping/handling, and get either a 3 month ($24.99) or 1 year ($59.88) subscription to Marvel Digital Comics.  So, essentially, you can have the Marvel Universe Nick Fury figure for $30 :).

Pass.  What a rip off.

Thanks Brent - I'm in.  By the way, I noticed this after registering:

Leagues that complete drafts (live, auto, offline) after 11:59pm PT on Monday, September 1 will start scoring in week 2. However, the commissioner can adjust the league setting "Start League scoring in" to Week 1.

Looks like our draft is 9/2 - do you want to move it up a few days or are you going to just adjust to start in week 1?

So why couldn't they do that to the Gunship in the first place?

Well if they made the super ultimate version of everything the first time around, you wouldn't buy two.  Or three.  Or four...   ;)

I don't want to want one, but I want one.   :-\

That's in great shape for just $90 - nicely done!

I'm curious to know if anyone would be complaining about the price point if the set included new figures instead of repacks.  The Lars home and 3-4 new figures at $45ish honestly doesn't feel that far off the mark.  Even kitbashed figs in this set would make it more viable in my opinion.  Or if we saw the base, an accessory, and the womp rat for the price of a normal battle pack at $20-$25, that feels far more reasonable as well.  I'm not sure if these options are just too costly for Hasbro, but I would have picked up the set with either of the above options.
