A good place to download?

As I wrote in a earlier post, I know a place, but did not post a link. It's illegal to download you know unles you owe the original game.  ;)

But iit's not ilegal to post a link so here it is. Besides SNES there is also NES, Neo-Geo, and Mame (old arcade machines). Besides the games (roms), you can also find emulators.

Vintage Kenner / Re: IG-88 variation???
« on: December 8, 2003, 05:42 PM »
I remember there was an IG-88 with black ring / bands on his arms up on Ebay a couple of years ago. The seller stated it was very rare and came with a collectors case, and as far as I remember he had a starting price at 100 USD. It was not sold if I remember correctly.

This variation was discussed at RS too, and I belive none of the variation collectors nor the prototype collectors" had ever heared of it before, neiter had the experts. So I guess it cas a custom.

Anyone else remember this figure, or have heared about it?

Watto's Junk Yard / Re: Christmas Songs that Suck
« on: December 4, 2003, 02:33 AM »
Good morning.

A Christmas song tnat realy scucks is: Wham - Last Christmas

A cool Christmas song is: Spinal Tap - Christmas with the Devil.

There is nothing satanic about the song, just pure Spinal Tap humor.

Pure nostaligia reading this thread.

It is posible to download most of these old games in the true arcdade version, by using a Mame emulator. The only problem is that your only allowed to use a mame clone, if you do owe the actual rom card. The rom clones can be downloaded for free on the net, but since it's illegal to play them, I will not post a link here.

The Original Trilogy / Re: Favorite Imperial Officers!
« on: December 1, 2003, 09:55 AM »
All of the named officers are cool in their own way, my favorites arte.

1. Grand Moff Tarkin
2. Admiral Piett
3. Moff Jerjerrod
4. Captain Needa
5. General Veers

But as already mentioned by another member,  Michael Sheard (Admiral Ozzel) is really a standup guy. After a convention in Copenhagen, I and some other fans (including Kim Zoll and StarwarsDenmark) went to a chinese restauant with him (Michael Sheard), that was quite funny.

Vintage Kenner / Re: vintage variation list
« on: November 26, 2003, 03:12 AM »
Thanks nice to be here.

Jason, living in Europe i do not call the tri-log figures foreign, so they are indeed inlcluded in my chart.

Foreign variations (Takara, Lili-Ledy, Top Toys, Glasslite and Tolltoys) are listed in a sperate chart after the Kenner chart in the same Excell file.

I'm not sure I have all of the foreign figures listed, and positively I do not have all of the Kener variations, as new ones pop up quite often. Latest  Dave's Han Hoth with moulded legs insted of painted legs (this one is included).
