I totally stumbled upon the info too. Apparently the word had spread already by the time I read it on Scum. It's fine by me if it means his robes won't be so white like they appear in the pics. I hope I can get Kit at a good price.

TSN is saying Luongo signing for 4 years at $27 million is a done deal. Very surprised that he would sign being a year away from having his pick of teams.

Oh you're totally right that anything is possible and last year's Indians nearly proved that, but it requires the Twins to stay hot and one of 2 teams to basically fall on their ass so the odds are against the Twinkies. Getting a big bat will help, assuming a deal is out there.
I'm just amazed out how wide open the field is this year because there is no 1 dominant team. It's anyone's trophy at this point.

« on: June 28, 2006, 09:49 PM »I figured I would get Aragorn or Obi-Wan before Kit since Obi-Wan went up for sale on the 6th and Aragorn on the 13th (Kit wasn't until the 20th). No big deal really, my credit card has already been slammed more than Paris Hilton with my daughters wedding and all but still, it would have been nice to have all three come sometime in July.
Actually Beth I read on Scum that they pushed Obi-Wan back because they wanted to get the color right on the outfit (something along those lines) so Kit got bumped ahead of him.

The Twinkies got themselves in an early hole and the Tigers and Sox were playing great from the start so it's gonna take a serious run to get into 1st place. I don't see it happening. They have to hope one of those 2 teams cools off big time and aim for the wild card.

Actually starting July 3rd they will begin processing the orders. I got the same email for 12" Vader and the 501st Trooper.

It doesnt' look like we're getting any more in. My nephew was lucky enough to get some for his b-day from people, but he's not really that into them. He may get more into them once he sees the movie.
