Was tempted for about a minute on the Stormtrooper last weekend while at the MOA. But the $30 made it any easy pass in the end.

Obnoxious ebay week.

Paid $6+ for a loose General Madine figure with autographed cardback by Dermot Crowley. I can't guarantee it was authentic and seller couldn't either, but looked good enough to be worth a try to me.

Just got my money refunded with explanation the seller's "dog ate the figure and cardback". I don't know if I should laugh or cry or what.

Sise Fromm, no robe arrived today. Got him for pretty much right what I wanted to pay too.

I now have every vintage Kenner Star Wars figure (at least one version of each anyway, don't have all variations).

About 70% are carded and thus complete. Of the 30% loose some are not complete. As simple as a weapon or as expensive as my Droids C3PO having no limbs (yes I know it's a stretch to say I have that figure then).

Now for the long process of figuring out what accessories I am missing and finding them on the cheap. That'll have to wait though. Finally wallet you get a rest.

Fun day, but kinda sad too.........

First thing is I realize this isn't a big deal at all. Six baseball cards for all of 50 cents.

But I won two lots of three MN Twins baseball cards from a guy last Sunday on ebay. When I try to pay I get a message from ebay saying his paypal account can't accept my payment at this time. I let him know, he says he contacted paypal and they said paypal is down. I have had no problem with paypal the rest of the week including paying other people.

I have let him know I have been trying to pay all week and it still doesn't work. I asked him if his other items he sold same day have been paid for by the buyers. I have asked him what he would like to do about it. He isn't responding. I emailed paypal for suggestions and they were useless.

Is there a way to ask ebay to help without it opening a case? I don't want to open a case for 50 cents worth of cards that the issue is him not getting his money. But it's obnoxious he won't respond and I'd like my cards. They may not be valuable but filled a hole in my collection and I don't buy his story about "paypal is down".

Any thoughts?

Thanks for your input gentlemen

Wasn't sure where to ask this and didn't want to start it's own thread: Does anyone have a Friar Tuck from the 1991 Kevin Costner "Robin Hood" movie toy line in with their Jabba's palace themed stuff? It looks like since they used the Gamorrean Guard body for him he'd fit in quite nicely without his robe on. Just a random thought I thought someone might have some insight into. Thanks

Saw the Alien figs at B&N today. No Alien though. Worth checking out your local B&N again if anyone is still interested.

I have had both something I bought and something I sold go to the west coast first when it should have gone north to south and vice versa and other than the extra time it took, everything went fine. Though the buyer only gave me 4 stars for shipping time. Whatever.

Picked up Mara Jade.

Opened up the shipping box and there was nothing inside (that's a "Legends" joke).

I'm a sucker for these EU things like this.

And now I type this more for myself than any other reason, my vintage funds need to replenish so unless I can find a reasonable priced Sise Fromm or the item is less than $10, I WILL NOT BE HAVING ANY LATEST VINTAGE ACQUISITIONS FOR A WHILE!!!! Self control, self control, self control, self control....................

A guy I know, goes by the name of GrandMoffRick, picked up a 12" (15") IG88. No accessories and no right hand so price was low.

Question for anyone who's seen them in the last 5 to 10 years:
Pearl Jam is one of my all time favorite bands. "Black" is my favorite song of all time.
Having said that I think their, let's say pre 2000 stuff is brilliant overall, but their post 2000 stuff is only "good" overall. When they perform now do they do a nice mix of their stuff or do they "promote" newer stuff? I know they don't have any super recent releases so that maybe helps my cause.
Any thoughts?

I think I got pretty lucky, $25 plus shipping.  He's definitely showing his age, but I'm stoked to have him.

Nice! I'd have jumped at that price.

(I believe) complete remote control R2D2. He is a little dirty, but comes with R2, the remote, the antenna, the instructions, a couple tabs I think went around his legs saying "electronic do not drop", both styrofoam inserts to hold R2 and keep the box's shape and an, I'd say, good to very good condition box.

Grand total after bid, shipping, (unfortunately) tax was $18.18. I thought it was a home run. The fact only one other person bid maybe says it isn't. Fun to get something with a box AND inserts though.

Oh and seller had it listed as "untested". I probably will leave it untested.

Sounds like maybe it'll prevent idiot sellers from incessantly relisting toys with ridiculous BINs.  Can't complain about that!

That is a good point. One of my biggest pet peeves about ebay is the sellers who spend no research time on what their stuff is worth (same item selling for).

Sadly I paid a little over sticker price...  :)

He had to pay tax and shipping too obviously Justin.

But seriously that is cool. I will never have a 12 back and it's neat to see people who do. So pretty.
