yep, thats it for now!  Unless I delve into the carded, and until the Rebo set comes out, I am in the clear!   ;)

Matt

Carded Kuby's are nice, pricey but nice. Maybe in time there will cheaps ones. Keep your eye out.  ;)

Congrats again.  Bring on the Rebo Band set!  8)

Yeah, truthfully I probably won't delve into carded Kuby's.

So I just got the eBay invoice...$14 for shipping.  A bit more than I would want, but with a total of $110, its all good.

Thanks you guys.  My max bid was $126...I was really surprised it went for so low.

Yep, I may get nailed on the shipping cost.  But the guy has good feedback, so I'm hoping it won't be so bad.  Either way, it will be cheaper than what they have been going for lately I hope.

Yee haw!  I finally bagged an Early Bird set.  And for a pretty decent price.

What are those little steps you have the loose figures set up on?  I really like those.

Matt

I was thinking the same thing Matt, and have come to the conclusion that they're CD jewel cases.  Dontchya' think?  Pretty clever idea there.  I like it, Matthew!

Nice collection shot too.  You've come a long way in a short time with these guys!   8)

You know, I think you're right.  That is pretty clever...they do look nice.

Yeah, that would just be way too cool if they did that - assuming they hid the dumb Doda figure in the lower left corner.  Still wish they hadn't included him.

I totally agree with you JediMAC.  Doda seems kinda out of place considering the sole focus of Kubrick on the original trilogy, and all of their cool nods to the vintage line.

Looks like a sweet set either way though!   :)  I sure hope I can score one for a decent price.  Sheesh.  Just when I thought I was catching up...

I should just list what I've bought so you guys can go look for bargains.  Anything I buy immediately drops in price for months afterwards.

I feel the same exact way sometimes.   :)

Just wanted to say that DSJ rocks!  He hooked me up with a Han Carbonation Sickness, so it has arrived and been added to my collection.

Thanks again Dale!

Well, I sprung for the Speeder Bike Set.

$70 + $7 shipping, because its in the US.  Not bad, and the cheapest I have seen around in a looong time.

So, now all I would like for my collection is the Early Bird Set.  Those are still really hard to find, and pricey when they are around.  If anyone spots one for a reasonable price, let me know please!   :)

Jesus! The seller honorius has a big carded collection up on the auction block.

STAR WARS card KUBRICK set of 6

That guy must buy everything in vast quantities.  He just keeps coming out with more and more auctions.

Heh...don't stress yourself out too much JediMAC.   :)

I just got my 5-pack last night, and opened it right up.  I set the figures up with the rest, and they look great.  I did keep the packaging in perfect condition, so if I really wanted to, I could box it back up.

I do plan to open the speeder set when I eventually get it too.

So --- only the Speeder Bike set and the Early Bird Kit left on my list!  That EB kit is a bitch and a half though.  Thing is still in high demand.

The 5 pack is awesome. I enjoy it. Paploo is really cool and the Droids rock!!!!!!!!

Cool!  I am really excited...mine is on the way.

Question - are people opening up their 5-packs, or leaving them in the box?  I saw Simon left his in the box, which does look nice, but I am definitely opening mine to display them with the rest of my loose figs.
