Title: Disney Cruise Lines and Star Wars
Post by: Jeff on April 21, 2015, 10:21 AM
You've all heard that Disney is doing Star Wars Day at Sea (http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2015/02/star-wars-day-at-sea-on-the-disney-fantasy-to-feature-deck-party-characters-film-screenings-celebrities-and-more/) onboard the Disney Fantasy, right?

Well today, Disney showed off some of the new experiences coming to the Disney Dream:

"In Disney’s Oceaneer Club, kids are in for an out-of-this-galaxy experience in a newly themed play, Star Wars: Millennium Falcon, inspired by the spacecraft from the legendary saga. (http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2015/04/new-experiences-coming-to-the-disney-dream-when-transformed-spaces-debut-this-fall/)"

Disney does such an amazing job with the Oceaneer Club and that Falcon set-up is amazing play area for kids.  We've gone on two Disney cruises and the kids always have a blast at Oceaneer Club.  The last cruise we went on (Disney Magic) had an Avengers Academy set-up where they got to meet "Iron Man" and "Captain America" and take an avengers training session.

So does this replace the Avengers stuff?

For the Disney Dream, yeah.

Avengers Academy set-up will remain on the Disney Magic for a while longer I believe.  Not sure about the Disney Wonder or Disney Fantasy though...

That's how I should redecorate my collection room!

That is all kinds of awesome... I don't think I would leave and I'm an adult so that is kind of creepy.

The boats always have "open house" hours at Oceaneer Club each day where the whole family is welcome to stop in and play so there would be plenty of time for dads/moms to get their falcon fix too. ;)
