Star Wars Dioramas and Displays / My First Diorama: Yavin Medal Ceremony

Hey guys,
After years and years of looking at custom dioramas on this board, i decided to get off my butt and make one myself that involved more than using packaging or photos from the internet. After finally getting a non-buff Ceremony Luke and that nifty honor guard, and seeing BespinJedi34's cool version, I got some foamcore, an exacto knife, some balsa wood, a little light plaster and acrylic paint and let my creativity flow in a physical way (I'm a musician, so most of my creative energy gets focused there...btw - check out www.TheLightsOut.com for free mp3s!)

First time making anything out of foamcore and the last time I picked up a paintbrush was in 10th grade art class in 1990.

 I try to display my star wars figures in their scene-specific environments whenever possible. lately I've been playing with my digital camera and I thought I'd share with you.  I figured I'd start a thread and add photos in chronological sequence as i take more pics.

Photonovels and Movies / My Cantina Comic *COMPLETE!*

OK. I posted this over at Rebelscum, but I figured that I'd share it with you guys as well. This is my first attempt at doing something like this. It's the results of playing with two new toys, my first digital camera and this thing that came bundled with my new iMac called ComicLife. I had fun playing around and here are the results! Enjoy!

Modern Classifieds / FS: General Veers (AT-AT Commander)

Hey, I've got an extra Veers if anyone needs it. I was going to trade for it, but ended up finding EVERYTHING i needed at this K-Mart in Lebanon, NH. Go figure..

Anyway, I've got a loose Veers if anyone's looking for one for their collection. If you don't want to buy the whole AT-AT, this is a great chance to get this elusive character for your collection!

Hey, I've got an extra Veers (at at commander) that I'd like to trade for a shock trooper (#6 Variant). I was going to sell these on eBay, but i figured that i'd try here first since i know this is a pretty hard to find figure. Anyone interested?
