I've never felt so free.
The restrictions, the confinement, the cloth prison...
It's gone.
I haven't done my laundry in 3 weeks and finally ran out of boxers. So, I'm not wearing any. It's amazing! I feel so liberated.
Can somebody tell me what the purpose of underwear is? After this religious experience of the last few days, I can only conclude that underwear is a man-made prison, much like taxes and office buildings.
Somebody bring me back. Why do we need it?
-
It's to keep the pee-stains, skidmarks, and poop-stench from forming directly on your jeans.
So, if you're really careful about shaking and wiping - I guess you'll be just fine.
Oh, and be extra careful around your zipper.

Zippers are man eaters.
added: Oop. Beaten to the punch.

Don't act like you don't know what I'm talkin' about. :P

The number one concern for me is the zipper area. It or hair could get caught in there and that would be disastrous. Plus even though I shake my rod well after peeing a little something else is sure to seep out and possibly cause embarrasing wet spots. Like someone said above there is always the danger of possible skid marks that the underwear or boxers can pick up rather than my jeans or Dockers.
Going commando is just too terrifying for me to risk.

Update:
I did my laundry. I'm wearing boxers. I was having more fun without them.
:P
-
I am currently trying this right now.
I'll report back later.

Do not, I repeat, do not wear loose shorts while going commando. For the love of all things decent. K?

I had my own stint with this condition today. Mostly due to wearing my last pair to the gym... laundry commencing at oh-six-hundred.

Don't leave us...um...hanging ;)
How was it? Did I convert you?

Well, it wasn't my first time doing this. I wouldn't call myself a convert - but I'm not afraid to freeball it when necessary.

;D I've never felt so liberated! But alas, I can only do this on weekends, due to the fact that I have school, and thus, phys ed, everyday, therefor I should probobly wear some boxerbreifs when I get changed. Other than that, hot damn!
Freeballin here I come!

I went through a good year-and-a-half of free-ballin'. Yeah, it feels pretty liberating, but think about those times when you get the old swamp-ass...do you really want that all over your jeans?
I think, in the end, boxer briefs are the way to go...less restricting (and less lame) than briefs, and none of the bunchiness of boxers.

Really surprised nobody's mentioned the famous Seinfeld episode where Kramer discovers this liberating new way of life as well. Classic episode! 8)

Zippers are man eaters.
LMFAO.
Unfortunatly, I know this from the joyful experience of zipping myself up, even WITH that protective layer of boxers on. I guess you really shouldnt hurry up in the bathroom....even if its a stenchy public one...from that day on I've made sure its all tucked in and ready to go before closing the airlock...
-
I've gone through some free and easy stages before, and yeah I can't deny the groovy vibe, back to nature feel you get. Party. Sometimes I still do just for kicks, or because the situation demands it, like the lack of laundry problem you guys have had.
I don't know why I keep coming back. Maybe its because, as good as free-wheelin' feels, there's also the fresh clean feeling you get from putting a pair of freshly laundered boxers - like wearing Snuggles the teddy bear in your pants!

Freeballin?
I like that Kevin. Good one!

All I know is that now everyday there's a party in my pants, and I'm the guest of honor.

You mean the only guest! ;)

I used to only go commando when necessity required it (a.k.a. forgot to wash the whites), but now I'm a convert. It's nice letting everything ... you know ... fly free. Plus, it saves time doing laundry, and--now that I'm back at school on the pay machines--saves money.
However, Tuesdays and Thursdays are my PE weightlifting class, so I'm not taking any chances, and it's back into the tightie whities under the gym shorts.
And to answer the common concern: I've never had a problem with catching "myself" in the zipper, even when incredibly drunk. Just pay attention to where your bits and pieces are at--which should be common sense anyway. ;) Really, the only concern is skidmarks, and as long as ya wipe thoroughly....

Typically I wear a pair of jeans or khakis 3 or 4 times before I wash them just for the fact that at work I don't get all that dirty and I use napkins and tissues when warranted. The prospect of going commando would seriously put the kibosh on that routine.
The whole purpose of underwear (boxers for me) is a backup, or deflector shield if you will, keeping those occasional farts that are at times "questionable" off my pants and for when I'm in a hurry at the urinal to soak up the extra "dew on the lily", leaving my pants theoretically "clean" for the next day.

Oh good Lord, I wish I never clicked on this thread :-X

:-[ :P Me either! :-X

No boxers for me, I need the briefs so the boys have some support. Simple as that.
"dew on the lily"
:D :D :D

Good point Jay--I used to be able to get 2 or (if I don't get very sweaty) maybe even 3 days out of a pair of pants, whereas freeballing gets you at most 2, or preferably just 1.
However, you don't have to launder undies so I guess it's kind of a wash (pun recognized but unavoidable).

Same here.

Someone in my house forgot to switch the laundry over from the washer to the dryer last night, resulting in a boxers crisis.
Breezy day for me today.

This topic had INFORMATION OVERLOAD written all over it, but I still couldn't keep myself from clicking into it.

Any chance we can lift this rule, at least on the weekends?
