Uses a lot more thumbtacks, but what if you just put the pin part right on the edge of the card, and have the flat part holding the card down? This way it would stay put but not have holes in the card.

A nice photoshopping program for those of us who make photonovels, or simply want lightsaber/blaster effects, perhaps? I don't know how much they cost, but it was an idea.

Goo-Gone is perfectly safe on Hot Wheels cards, which me and my dad collect. We aren't "Hot Wheels guys", so don't jump down our throat. It's pure enjoyment of the hunt and the little metal cars.
