Nice pics - and thanks.....all look pretty good to me - passing on the ROTS character, but may pick up the video game one - the Rebel Fleet Trooper and the good Doctor look to be the standouts

The endor trooper is near perfect far as trooper building/modding is concerned....they did a good job on him - the cartoony head is a bit off, though

Hey, made the front page........! Awesome...!!!!! If you use some water and get the skirt nice and wet, it tends to dry with the material looking a little less poofy!!!!

I should have meantioned that I found the whole wave unpunched - except for the R2, so yeah, they are apparently shipping that way.......not a real issue for me - if I can find them that way, great...if not, great too

So I'm guessing they weren't hanging from the pegs, right? Were they on some sort of display?

I cracked open a case, but same thing for the punched ones on the shelf...the punched thingee was still attached to one side

AmanaMatt, your skirt mod looks really nice.  thanks for the pics!

Thanks! In the end, I probably went a tad too short with it....the real issue is the poofiness of the material...........I should have meantioned that I found the whole wave unpunched - except for the R2, so yeah, they are apparently shipping that way.......not a real issue for me - if I can find them that way, great...if not, great too

Dang this is a good looking toy. I'm amazed at all the features, the size, and the price. I worry a bit about the rubbery neck and ends of the puppet handle. I hope they hold up over time.

That seems pretty sturdy, actually

No sure if this is related, but when I bought mine yesterday I first tried to scan it with the Upc bar code - it told me to 'see a service rep' or something, but when I went to check it out at the front, no problems.

I picked this up today in Northern Texas...the above pic illustrates the one issue I have with this whole set: the awful paint job for Jabba himself. That said, I did a nice brown wash over the 'skin' portion and it really helps the detail pop out without looking as bland. Hasbro put soo much detail into the set as a whole, its a pity that the paint apps suffered on the big lizard himself

I am absolutely loving these retro versus modern posts....I had an unnatural love of R5 D4 as a kid, so love the modern version. Much, much, much nicer than the RPG version from the 90s!

Pass.  I could splash accidental blue paint on one of my cheaper POTF2 Stormtroopers if I really wanted something like this.   ::)

I have no self control when it comes to the new SS armored line. I ended up preordering this - of course, loving the game doesn't hurt. This will be my only Eu type stormie, aside from an all black one, maybe.

The Legacy Collection / Re: Legacy Collection Comic Packs
« on: March 22, 2009, 04:46 PM »

Picked up the new Amanin warrior set  - first comic book 2 pack I have liked since wave 1's han & luke...since memeber name is Amanamatt, of course I am all over any new Amanin type figure. Not like Amanaman sold well when he hit years back, but hey, I am not complaining. As you can see, this is way larger than any previous version of an Amanin figure. The modern Amanaman was pretty much dead on scale.....
