Ahsoka's E-Wing Is Flying Into Hasbro's Star Wars Toy Line

Hasbro is playing on FOMO with these details on the availability:
The Vintage Collection E-Wing will cost $100, and is set to release sometime in fall 2024. Preorders begin later today, February 7, at 1 p.m. ET on Hasbro Pulse, for a limited-time window closing at 11:59 p.m. ET on March 5. I've taken issue with Adam ever since around 2014 when he tried to put a positive spin on 5 POA figures.  While I can appreciate that he has some inside knowledge on account of his employer, I feel like he was trying to shine a turd when he took that position on effectively dumbing down the 3.75" figure line.

I got my set over the weekend.  RD-3 is probably my favorite of the bunch, and it's largely because the design feels new, even if that dome sculpt had been used once before.

Chopper is great, but seeing the TVC version next to this version is kind of surreal.  Because the Droid Factory Chopper is substantially larger.  It also has those arms with articulation.

I noticed the situation with Huyang's shoulders, too.  And I'm wondering how many people may wind up breaking their Huyang trying to move that shoulder joint the wrong way.

Jayson commented that the Press Release was incorrect, and that the Epic Heroes series was not exclusive.

Today was the first time that I've seen these in a store.  And while I might have been optimistic about this line when it was first announced, the comparison images on social media were enough to help me make up my mind before even seeing these firsthand.  I glanced at them, but it didn't seem to be worth my time to even take them off the pegs, which was kind of sad.

As for the possible vehicles?  Having seen some of the Marvel ones in their Epic Heroes Series line, I'm not feeling terribly optimistic.

Very tempting!  The trooper and Jawa offer a number of possibilities.  And the Obi-Wan figure could be some really good custom fodder.  But I really haven't had the time to spend on that kind of project.

There's been a lot of chatter about Axe Woves going around.  The interchangeable helmet solves one issue - the ENORMOUS bucket that came with the Target exclusive figure.  But the armor is still REALLY inaccurate.  How wrong?  Let's count the ways!
-The chest armor cuissis is wrong 
-The belly pad is missing 
-The pauldrons don't look quite right 
-The one piece of shin armor is missing 
-The gun belt is missing straps
-The boots aren't right - they're the same design as the VC219 Death Watch Mandalorian that Hasbro used as the basis for the first release.
