ep1: the begining on the federation ship with obi wan and qui gon dispatching the droids.  and the duel with obi, qui and maul, and the duel of fates music is my favorite track in star wars!

ep2: when the clone troopers show up at the arena, and when they are getting ready to go to war at the end, very cool stuff with the music to go with ;D

I TRUELY LOVED THAT MOVIE!
but its probably not for everyone, so it may just be my taste, very moving in spots.  i seriously think its one of my top 10 all time. i only got to see it once in the theartre but will be making up for that this weekend with the dvd ;).   on a side note the dvd really lacks in extras, that kind of disapointed me.

hi jesse,
yeah im smack in the south central P.A, in lancaster county, where men are men and cows are scared ;D
i wasnt at the last social, but was at the one the year before. i hosted a meeting last july and plan on hosting again this july. the meetings are great and i have a blast i try to at least make the local ones.  also i know what you mean alot of people arent to into 12" stuff but thats about %95 of the stuff i customize, i do 3 3/4" dioramas as well, but the 12" scale is my true love. i havent done much customizing lately but have alot of ideas running through my head.
thanks for the kind words :)

Saga '02-'04 / Re: How's Star Wars Selling in Your Area?
« on: April 28, 2004, 10:34 PM »
within the last year i have had "0" trouble finding new stuff(well very little), and i really havent been hitting stores like i did back in the day. the only 2 figures i had to get through other means other than a store shelf have been the saga emperor(god knows why??) and the r1-g4 . and in 12" i never saw garinden but have seen the ewoks and biker scout which are far more difficult to find so far as ive heard. i got garinden through a trade even before he hit the local shelves so maybe thats why i never seen him, wasnt looking ;D. as far as the unleashed i saw the clone trooper wave a couple times early, but not since.   but as of right now i see very little oroduct on any store shelf in my area, so im hoping to come across the at st han wave any time now.

close though, same movie ;)
anyhow thanks for the warm welcome everyone, and like i said i feel much at home here so im going to try to contribute more than i have on other forums. ;D
also i switched the 39"s around cause my email address and other accounts is 3993 and i just wanted to keep them the same ::)

great subject!!
i would definetly say lifesize props, characters mainly.
and heres my pride and joy my fett and also vader:

i also have  the three yodas, its just great seeing peoples faces when they see them.i also agree the MR stuff is awesome. as far as  low end stuff the playskool line is hard to beat, also the koto kits are a fav of mine.  i like all "other collectibles" though, it spices up a collection.

well ive been a lurker for a long time over at rebelscum(and even before at collectstarwars) and i was primarily there to buy, sell and trade which im pretty much done with as well. but i think i found a home im comfortable at, ive read alot of your guys posts and it looks like a solid group of guys. im also planning on posting a good bit here as well(something i didnt do elsewhere.  this site rocks and im really happy to be here, i think im giving up on rebelscum, just not enough hardcore collecting action there and more silly talk.  anyhow i wanted to give a thanks to jedimac who told me about the site some time ago, but failed to take his advice till now.
anyhow move along :)
