I can't wait to get Anakin, and rip him out of his box.  Ani is one of the figs I am looking forward to the most.

Like with alot of people, I am a bit disappointed with some of the paint application (glossy dark lips, and little to no light brown wash in the hair), those are minor things for me, that will not detract from what  is shaping up to be great overall.

As for the prototype, and Toy Fair pics, in this game you ALWAYS have to expect the final product to look different or not as good as a hand painted/pre-production model.  The good thing is with all the feedback and critisim Anakin has been receiving, hopefully SSC will learn from it, and apply it to future releases.

I paid $3.45 yesterday for our CA water-downed premium.  Put $20 bucks in, and got under six gallons worth of gas.

FWIW, if you get those catalogs from EE, they have source codes in the address box you can use for free figures, discounts, etc.  I have a source code for $10.00 off, which I have already used a couple of times for some cases.  I'm pretty sure it's still active, so if you plan on buying/pre-ordering some stuff from EE PM me, and I will pass it along.

All I ask is that you don't spread it around too much, as I don't want EE getting suspicious as why they keep getting flooded with $10.00 off all their orders. :P

I believe a fuels octane rating is it's resistance for pre-ignition (pinging/detonation, marbles in a coffee can sound).  The higher the rating, the higher it's resistance for pre-ignition/engine damage.   It promotes a slower more efficient burn, as stated above.

Also octane booster in a can is a total waste of money.  It is extremely diluted, even moreso when added to a tank of regular gas.   It has very little benefits.


I think the reason it's not added more, is because the majority of cars are designed for the cheaper stuff, and the same old stand by oil answer "It's alot more expensive to produce".  Higher horsepower cars, and cars running increased timing need the premium stuff.

EE did infact receive Wave 3 shipments because I received mine on 2-23, which I pre-ordered 11-10-05.  If you want your figs before retail or at the same time as retail, that is more than likely not going to happen.  If you want your figs a few weeks after retail, in untouched/mint condition, and 99.9% guarantee what you order will arrive on your doorstep, than order as soon as it is up on EE, or your prefered online store. 

Remember first come, first serve.

There are four of each VTSC hanging on the pegs at my local Wal*Mart all with the POP's/order form missing.  The thief who returned them did a hack job, he just cut the bottom/corners at the seal.  At least you can easily see if the POP's are still intact by looking through the side of the clamshells.  Freaking douche bags.
