I dig it.  Very 70's with the colors.  Would a simple light paint wash have run up cost though?  Oh well.

I always like Frankenstein things and he's definitely a hodge podge. Looking forward to the show.

Yeah the character possibilities for the show have me excited...  Not all the toys are gonna work out for me, but I think some will and that has me excited.  New stuff, I love it.  I still love my IG-86 figures.  I should buy more.  They're amazing, and perfect filler stuff.

The show, I hope it's great.  I hope Filloni's words, which have all been pretty great so far, really come to fruition...  I think I may really love this show more than TCW.

He's very PlaySkool. Not in a bad way. The attempt at cleverness in the naming is kind of a stretch, but as long as I don't have to pay attention to it I will ignore it. Artoo was my childhood favorite, so I like that they are acknowledging the importance of a droid character for that real Star Wars feel.

Where was this astromech in the prequels or CWs?  You'd think we'd see this model running about somewhere.  I wonder if it'll be included in the next movie release like the Dug in Jabba's Palace?

Not really liking the name "Chopper" though since there was a clone by that name.  Maybe I'll just call him Dennis.

He kind of reminds me of old Bob from the Black Hole.

BiO sanitation Battallion, indeed.

I've watched the %^& video like 5 times and cannot for the life of me figure out where they show off any kind of finished action figure. I guess other folks see something I am missing.

The action figure isn't in the video. It's in the photo slideshow (4th photo)

D'oh!  :-[

Thanks, that actually looks really cool. At least with astromechs reduced articulation isn't an issue.

I could be wrong, but eyeballing the pic closely, that thing's more complex than most any Legends style figure out there...  Look at the recessed bits?  It's like it has separate sculpted parts in there.  the arms may be articulated, and the ankles LOOK like they're articulated.  The head and shoulders move, but there looks to be a good deal more going on there than the typical Legends figure would have.

I find that...  interesting.

I don't know, I'm thinking the paint master "hero" image has a generous amount of retouching applied. I'm betting in 3 POA - head and "shoulders" (tolerances seem too tight for arm & ankle joints) - anything more and that's gravy for me.

You'd know how to spot photoshopping more than me, but the recessed details, really looked separate like the outer shell has perhaps a "plug" of "greeblies" to give a more deep look to it?

I was thinking the arms on the head and the one on the torso looked separate too, and those ankles I could go either way, but it looks a lot more separate than Legends R2...

I have a hard time imagining they wouldn't put the arms on the dome...  Seems like a major part of the character to me, from the short videos shown so far.

If it's just the dome and shoulders, that's a shame.  Still a fun little addition because droids are what they are (I still buy up ASP-7's in bulk), but a shame the arms could be axed.

I agree with Jesse here.  At the minimum, that arm on his torso looks like it turns out and the ankles look articulated.

I think it's just 3 points. The skinny part of the front arm is definitely just painted on. The feet look to solid to be articulated. And there doesn't seem to be any hinges for the head arms to fold out.

I think there will be two arms that fold out form his head.  There's a grey/brown rectangle on the right of his head that looks like a separate piece.
