Title: Jedi Council talk
Post by: Carjup Bejewel on November 25, 2005, 06:34 PM
From the Star Wars Databank:

To become a Jedi requires the deepest commitment and most serious mind. It is not a venture to be undertaken lightly. As such, Jedi instruction is rigidly structured and codified to enforce discipline and hinder transgression. Only 20 Jedi have ever voluntarily renounced their commissions. It is with great regret that the Jedi order recognizes the so-called "Lost Twenty." A Jedi who fails in his training can be a very serious threat. The dark side of the Force beckons to the impatient, and students in the past have been lured to its call with devastating consequences.

Any new younglings should learn the weakness of the sith. The Bear Clan basiclly had learned that already because that group is for gifted jedi children. But the new ones should learn all weakness before sword training and to become one with the force. That way the sith may be destroyed more easy. That is the jedi weakness; not knowing weaknesses. Most of the jedi younglings has died because of it. The Jedi Order doesn't need that.

What exactly is the point of this topic? The topic says it has to do with the Jedi Council but it is just an entry about the Lost 20 from the OS databank, and then some explaination about the Bear Clan....

I find that those two do rarely have a point.  They mean to confuse others, is their lot in life.

I don't think these two are old enough to realize they need to have a point when they post.

Since it's being brought up again in another post, I'll repeat some advice/pointers...

Basically, be wary of what you're posting, and how you're posting it...  If you have a point to make, make it coherent and well thought-out in how you type it.  Otherwise you're just going to basically annoy everyone, and eventually you're going to annoy me, or other members of the staff here, to the point that some action may be taken.

Post sensible topics with sensible titles, not this stuff.  And with that I'm locking this thread because it doesn't make an iota of sense.

Oh, and Anton...  The Bear Clan were just a "class" more or less (I think) of Younglings.  The younglings Yoda's teaching in AOTC were Bear Clan younglings.  It's EU crap.
