For the last couple of years we ran an informal poll with your 10 most wanted characters from the current Star Wars Films. Continuing the tradition and trying to finish up before Comic Con 2008, I thought it would be a good time to revisit those lists. Here's how it works: You send your Wish List for 10 3 3/4" Figures to me or post them here, be it new figures, resculpts or even re-releases and I'll tally the votes. After four weeks of list taking I'll publish the results and we will move on to the next movie. The first Prequel Episode I:The Phantom Menace is now up. Surprisingly, there are still several PM figures I want a Wald / Kittster two pack, Mawhonic w/ Salvage Droid, Quadrinaros/Ratts Tyrell 2 pack, SA Generic Naboo Pilot... (w/ trench coat & removable helmet, SA Naboo Security Captain with head variants, and Twi'lek Masseuse just to start.
Well, with some help, I was able to get the EE 10-pack for less than $80, so I no longer need R2-A6. And surprisingly to me, I'm dropping all votes for Amidala outfits, though I would buy them in a second if and when they finally come out, so without further ado,

I wouldn't mind seeing some TPM figures redone in SA mode:
Obi-wan, Qui-gon, Anakin, Padme - tatooine, naboo and coruscant, battledroids that fold up, decent articulated jar jar - doesn't need SA treatment, maybe some of the jedi that weren't redone in AotC or RotS.

I also wouldn't mind decently articulated version of the neimoidians Rune and Nute, plus maybe one or two others we see on screen. And since I found a TC-14 this past xmas as part of the Saga Legends line, I wouldn't mind a re-release of Sio Bibble and a Panaka re-do with better articulation.

Love to see so much agreement resulting in a really good list, but a bit surprised to see Darth Maul left off. Thought he was on a few more lists than that. Oh, well.

Wow, except for the order, this list is essentially the same as last year.... at least we are consistant. 8/10 the same and as noted, SA Obi was in the same spot both years. I even like the 2 new additions to the list.

I could do without a couple of them personally but the list isn't too bad... Obi-Wan and R5 are, I think, the only choices I got that made the cut. Tey How is just Lushros Dofine with funky goggles so I'm not too jazzed on that one, but I guess he is sort of an army builder. Then again, so was Dofine.
Anyway, man, I hope they get to Obi-Wan here eventually. That's one bad set of figures from our past that need a definitive update.

5 of 10, not bad. There are some blatantly obvious figures that Hasbro could do here that I wouldn't think would be expensive for them: Tey How, Mawhonic, Ratts Tyerell, R5-A7 and probably some others, too, but I'll bid my time.

I think if they really try, they can make a Tey How figure exciting. Give her soft goods and articulation so she can sit in her chair and maybe throw in a PK Droid, and that would make an interesting figure.
2/10 for me (Twi'Lek twins and Kister/Wald). I would've liked to see Rum Sleg make the list again this time. I also really want Sei Taria to be made one day, but that' a long shot because I'm the only one who voted for her. :-\
