I like that repaint! I love how you added some depth to the figures pelt of fur, rather than just make it one color. The bloodstained fur underneith the mouth is a better look than what hasbro has going for theirs.

MY only complaint would be is that it doesnt look like you added any color to the arms on the underside. Just an observation. Could be the camera, could be just me.

Overall, nice Job.

Kevin

That's nice Marc,

I agree, that it's nice to see it improved because of the incredible sculpt.  Hasbro has such a nasty habit of not doing a sculpt justice with the washes.  Not bad for a production run toy line, but shoddy compared to what can be done by hand, if done carefully.

It really brings out the sculpt, what you did there.

Those Dr. Evazan Wave 2 Cantina figures were, to me, the epitome of bringing out the finer quality a sculpt had with a good paintjob.  It showed that the first Evazan's jacket and headsculpt really just needed deco to improve them, not resculpts.

Good stuff.  :)

Marc,

As already stated quite a remarkable paint job on the wampa. You've really brought it to life.

I wanted to make mention of the non-painting of the under arms as Famine brought up. I'm thinking that they may not necessarily need the paintjob because the "yellowing" on the rest of the wampa could be just soot or some sort of spillage from previous dinners and maybe the mess just didnt get to the under arms. Hmmm reading that all back it kinda seems unreadable, I hope someone gets my point.

Again great job Marc!
Happy Customizing!

Very nice work. I won't be able to look at my wampa now without wondering if I could do half as good a job as you've done if I decided to give repainting it a try.

Sweet.  :-*

Very, very nice paint details added to an already cool figure there marc!  It's amazing to see what more can be done to spice up the average Hasbro product.  It's just a shame that Hasbro can't do that themselves for the start, since unfortunately not all of us have the customizing skills to create cool stuff like your Wampa there.   :-\

Great work.  I'm jealous.  Why do I venture into these customizing forums in the first place?  Just gets me all depressed every time!   :P

Very cool new look. If Hasbro is gonna use blood in figures, why can't they get it right?

That paint job you did on that Marc makes it a spitting image of the one in the Special Edition movie.  That blood almost looks real!  Great work with your acrylics!

Yay. More blood for the hungry masses. Tiny little dots of blood here and there looks so wimpy.
