30th Anniversary Collection / Re: Cutting back in 08?
« on: December 6, 2007, 05:41 PM »
I've been cutting back since TAC started and will continue with my no EU (or if it isn't in a film don't collect it) policy for the forseeable future.

Not having to hunt down the McQuarrie figures this year was very enjoyable and only having to pick up Hermi Odle and C3PO / Salacious Crumb made that wave a lot easier to collect.

Luke Skywalker – breakfast resculpt with serving bowl and spoon

The serving bowl and spoon accessories are lame but if they inlcuded a glass of blue milk  :o

and just think they could have all those running changes and variations - opaque / clear glass, different levels of blue milk, different packaging placement of glass of blue milk - awesome ;)

Bought some Kubrick items from Jonathan - all arrived well packed (one item was an awkward shape for international shipping), were sent quickly after payment and communication was good throughout.

Thank you for an all round smooth deal.

30th Anniversary Collection / Re: 30AC Wave 7 - Battle of Endor
« on: November 18, 2007, 03:16 PM »

This really should have been a no brainer for Hasbro to include an alternate head and I'm sure the idea was tossed around in planning, but it's just another repack with new head that we'll need to buy in a few more years.

After having the figure, I would agree. However, which coin would it be? Double sided?

How about a Sebastian Shaw chase coin  :o

Packed 1 in 10  ;D

I also reorganized it a while back to make it a little friendlier to use.

I really like the new layout  8)

Haven't seen Wave 4 onwards here in the UK - although I understand it is starting to appear in stores now.

No Tantive IV battle packs yet either.

Not very good considering the UK was the first to get Wave 1  ???

Did the same thing with a Romba myself earlier this year as I wanted to upgrade and wanted a real spear.

I was lucky though as it only cost me $22 and the seller charged me $8 shipping to the UK, so $30 all in  8)

Kubricks / Re: Kubrick Newbies - Questions and Advice
« on: October 24, 2007, 05:38 PM »
what companies have your sellers used?  I want to track this item, but can't right now.  Any info would be appreciated.

I don't know the companies but in the UK all my Kubricks have been delivered by the Royal Mail - the US equivalent is the USPS. I'm guessing the sellers all used their own countires standard postal service - I've had stuff from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan with tracking and needing to be signed for on delivery.

Never had a problem yet though.....

I was also surprised to see this auction this morning and was even more surprised to see that it wasn't flagged as pre-sell?

McFett or McChewie

Head over to kbtoys.com and grab McChewie now.

Due to case assortments we have been getting over in the UK - the McChewie is peg warming in my local stores.

The Jawa and Droid is proving to be very difficult to track down. Only seen one and bought it straight away.

Finally picked up a Jawa and Droid from Woolworths - these are very hard to find in the UK.
