Vintage Kenner / Re: Wow - Vintage eBay Auctions

That really does look terrible. You woul dfigure in the long run the tape would damage the thin plastic lightsaber.

They would have been better mounting a small acrylic sub-case next to the figure with two slots for the sabre parts. A lot better looking and surely the DT figures would warrant the slightly higher expenditure.

Not only the potential for damage but the tape will also probably dry out and..............well you know the rest  :(

Overall I give the set up a U10   :-*

That DT looks like **** mounted to the case with tape.

WOW!  :o First time I'd seen a picture and you are not wrong - what a crock of ****.

I have read recently that if you contact AFA beforehand they will mount it in the figures hand.

Try http://www.ebid.net/

The UK site is just full of crap that nobody wants - however - free listing means you can list as much crap as you like and it doesn't cost you a thing  8)

If your item sells the final value fee in the UK is 3%

You the seller have my money, I fulfilled my end of the deal, so post positive feedback.

As a buyer I don't consider the deal complete until I have let the seller know the item has been recieved.

Normally I do this through feedback as the vast majority of my purchases are without incident. This, for me is easier than finding the email or typing out an ebay message from a link on the finished auction. Controversially, I ditched the idea of feedback being a reciprocal points scoring system a few years back. I don't care that the seller gets +1 and I may not got nothing in return. They know I have the item and the deal was okay - so I have fully completed my end of the deal. If they don't leave feedback then I don't go back.

I also want to add that Matt went out of his way to set up an international sale for me and everything went smoothly, with good communication throughout.

Thank you.

Overall, I'm not too fussed about this years releases.

I don't collect anything outside of OT and PT so it will be a relatively cheap year for me and less time will be taken up finding stuff.

Kubricks / Re: Series 3

Logray $232
Jawa   $328
Snowbox $$370
Tarkin/Veers $200

This is insanity.

In the UK the Logray normally goes in the £55-£75 ($110-$150) the Jawa slightly more maybe up to £85 ($170) due to the nod to vintage with the vinyl cape.

Tarkin / Veers in the £40-£55 (£80-$110) range.

Only seen one 2007 box set for sale over here it went for £130 ($260) however I decided to buy that sellers chase figures and pass on the box set.

I wish they had added some sandtrooper prints- I had posted about that on the sideshow site as soon as they showed the test shots.

I had hoped they were just missing on the test shots as well, otherwise I would have been interested in picking this up.

Did Sideshow respond to your post?

My only complaint is the lack of detail to the inside of the pod.

What about the missing Sandtrooper footprints?

It was the immediate thing I noticed when I first saw the photos on the website.

1:6 Scale Figures and Collectibles / Re: Sideshow 12" Commander Praji

I just cancelled my order...  I figure this is one that might be found later for cheap, so I'm passing...  The figure's obscurity is neat, but not $60 neat.

I was completing checkout yesterday for the waitlist and had exactly the same thoughts and didn't complete the order.
