No, it wasn't rare.  It was actually tremendously overpriced at $25.  It sat and sat even long after the deal with TRU fell through.

Once again turning the tables...  We never knew you were a heartbreaker Matt.  :)

I'm, at this time, wagering this won't occur.  I could see a hike to $7 by the company just because Hasbro's filled with the mindless, but I'm still going to bet on no major pricehike beyond that at this time.

Same with scale changes...

If it happens, then so be it.  It's every excuse one needs to dump the line and let it go the way of Playmates Trek.

Honestly, how many of us would actually care though I wonder?  It'd make my customizing list much more clear for me anyway.

$13?

I'd not heard this.  :)

If it's the case, I'm out...  I'll easily give up this hobby...  No figure's worth that price.  As it stands, VOTC aren't mre than $5 on flashy limited packaging.  They're not $13 figures, and they're F'n awesome.

2 guys from Pittsburgh have gotten theirs in so far, and both are either crushed bubbles or bent cards.

Terrible.

And that reply is utter BS.  No business should be run so piss-poor.  That's really, honestly, terrible.  The Fan Club's a travesty overall now.

Cruise the trade area.  It's your best bet I think.

Yeah, the count on Hasbro listed a double-jointed waist though, which I assume's just the same as Deluxe Durge and SA Clone had as well as VOTC Luke seems to have.

It's so flush thugh, it sure doesn't look articulated, I agree.

Hmmm

This is going to be interesting to see the figure in person.

Justin never mentioned his brother was into 21st figures...  I work with him at FFURG actually.

21st's contract with TRU is dead at this point and they're marketing figures thrugh E-tailers.  TRU's still sometimes have old stock thugh, but nothing one can **** on.

At GP's site, you may be able to barter with smeone for figures.  I've thought of selling off my 1st series collection since I dn't even have teh room to display them anymore.  Only figures though as they're pretty much all I had and the few vehicles I had I wanted to keep.

Thanks for the addition Diddly.

I'd have agreed with Vator a month or so ago, haha...  I'd have thought VOTC would at least be super poseable (as much as an astro can be) but from what I hear there's a fixed 3rd leg?  Whatever...  :(

Bar2's holding the title with Holo Leia R2 close behind.

Also, if you're really anal, both are great because holo Leia has the restraining bolt on.  Technically it's "different" right? :)

I'd really not count n it at this point though Diddly.  :(

This is something a lot will see as minor...  Another "RFT" type issue in a way.  Sure the figure's better than the last one.  No doubt.  The wrist thing is pissy of Hasbro though...  That does suck, and this figure's dropped in my eyes.  I now am looking more towards Fett and Vader I think, unless the arm articulation makes up for the wrists some.

To say I'm NOT disappointed would be a lie though.  $10, this figure should have both wrists done.  Excuseless.

Hmmm

I can't say I'm familiar with old 1st series stuff and where it's available, but...

Small Blue Planet
Bad Cat Toys

Those are the two most named stores I can think of so you may find what yu need there.  I hear they show at TRU too sometimes still.

I think Amazon.com may even have some 1st series infantry figures available.

Yeah, that was what prompted my remark about the figure falling apart.  I feel certain this is not a final production shot, but still it's odd looking and kinda sloppy to put up for promotion.

Anyway...  Something I've noticed.

It says "wrist" articulation, not "wrists" plural.  Ugh...  Could this be where the missing 14th articulation point is?  That Hasbro would be so assinine as to have ONE wrist stuck?

That's extremely funny, if not extremely sad at the same time if it's the truth.  :)  I mean, if this truly is how the figure's done, and one wrist is stuck, tha'ts just absolutely incredible.  Really.

Eh, I had some time...  Found a site of Star Trek women.  Figured it's pertinent.
