In Canada, via Jedi Temple Archives.

Soooo awesome... ;)

Eh.
Aren't these re-treads, anyway?
-
They are 5-point articulation figures that Hasbro said were made mainly for foreign markets (South America, etc.). IIRC, the Clone's gun is molded to his hand.
-
I thought someone MIGHT be interested in them as sort of a PT complement to the GG Jumbo figures, but that's stretching even my vivid imagination.

So Canadia is now an emerging market sales territory? Who knew?!?!?!

Yeck, it sure feels like it sometimes. :'(

10 strips of pemmican and an otter pelt per figure up there. :-X :-*

So I saw these here in the Twin Cities (at Target, $12.99). Man, are they horrible.
Terrible paint jobs on Anakin's head, lack of any kind of detail in the sculpt (almost looks like they were sculpted at a smaller 4" size and then tooled up to 12" size). Blech. I wasn't planning on buying them anyway, but after seeing them in person I couldn't believe how cheap they looked.
-
These are intended for kids right? I don't want to hear the "Collectors aren't supporting the line" shtick when none of these sell.

But. But. Collectors are supposed to buy everything with the Star Wars logo on it. If not, you haven't been properly brainwashed... perhaps we'll have to release a new movie to rectify that.
Love,
George and Mickey

Saw them at a Meijer store today. Didn't realize from photos that they had open packaging. You can rub your dirty hands all over them. >:D
-
Sad, but it's a testament that they're priced as they are despite the size... Screams they were cheap to manufacture and might make someone think, "Wow you get a lot for only a little more"... a kid/parent anyway.

Shining a bright light on this turd confirms the obvious.

Damn, that's an abomination. Looks like a Korean knock-off.
-
I like that these got reviewed.
I wouldn't even dignify it.
-
I guess you get what you pay for with these...

Hopefully some poor soul takes one for the team and reviews the new Class 2 vehicles. I really want to see how silly they look next to the normal versions without, ya know, shelling out any cash.
-
Wouldn't be me by a longshot, not that I've done a review in eons, but yeah... I'm to the point reviewing things that are so dismally bad they leave a bad taste in my mouth just isn't going to happen.

As far as I know, Jayson is planning to pick up the Slave I for his Kubricks. If he does, I'm sure Yakface will have some nice comparison shots between the various Slave Is.
-
My local TRU has the 12" Anakin. What a piece of junk!

He'll make point 5 past retail price. He may not look like much, but he's got it where it counts.

Next wave of Hasbro 12" figures? (http://www.bootlegactionfigures.com/sw14inch.html) ;D
-
Wow those are ugly.
-
And without reading, it's totally believable those are the next wave. That's sad.
-
Saw these at a Target today. They had Anakin, an AOTC Clone, Iron Man 3 Iron Man and an Ultimate Spider-Man from the new cartoon. They're all terrible and shouldn't even be given to starving children in Africa.
-
Full reset? Or just new junk mixing into old resets?
-
new junk mixing into old resets...and yes the figures look like garbage.
-
Yeah, new stock in old shelves... Iron Man 3 occupying Avengers space with old Avengers stuff, Spidey and Star Wars doing the same

I actually bought the Slave I, just because Boba Fett (and Mandalorians, in general, I guess) is my character focus. And yeah, it's pretty sad on just about every level (not the least of which is that I bought it to begin with). I'll post more thoughts in that thread, but wow, is it small and undetailed and just crappy.
-
I saw the new ones today in what I suspect will be a common experience: 0 Vaders and tons of pegwarming Obis and Anis.
>:(
-
Pics of these are Up Now (http://www.jedidefender.com/gallery/imageFolio.cgi?direct=Conventions/Toy_Fair_2014/Hasbro/Star_Wars/Kids_12_inch_Figures) for the one or two people who are collecting these. :P
-
The officer guy is interesting... Makes me wonder who he is I guess. So there was SOME interest there, kinda. :-X :-\
-
According to the slide show, he's Agent Kallus.
They said they couldn't say anything more about him, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out he's an imp officer of some kind. :P
-
Dig the armor... It's unique, if not exactly EU-ish or even non-EU-ish (Veers styled battle armor). Another figure to take some interest in anyway.
-
So wait, there are FIVE upcoming Rebels 12" figures? Looks like it anyway. They must really be banking on this scale for some reason.
As much as I had planned to scoff, those actually look way better than any of the previous 12" figures IMO. I will probably end up buying all of these. And then complaining about no Zeb.
Don't judge me! ;D
-
I think they're roto-cast which is cheaper if I'm not mistaken.
