I don't know if 5POA is a done deal.  There are rumblings to the effect that there may be greater articulation in the TLJ 3.75" figure line, but we haven't seen any concrete indications of moving away from the 5POA model yet.  I personally hope the rumors are true, and there will be an increase in articulation.  Hell, even going to 2002 levels of articulation would be better than what we've got right now.

Where are the Rebels figures  ???

I hope they continue to sprinkle them into the basic line as they have previously. New season is only a month or two out...

With this coming season being the last for the REBELS series, I certainly hope there's a strong showing for the series in the line for this coming year.  The Hasbro panel is what, this coming Friday at SDCC?

I'm not going to post the link to instagram because Hasbro wouldn't want that...  but I will list the leaked 11 figures here since they are all over social media right now. ;)

Luke Skywalker (Jedi Master)
Rey (Jedi Training)
Chewbacca with Porg
C-3PO
Finn (Resistance Fighter)
Kylo Ren
General Hux with Mouse Droid
First Order Stormtrooper
Rose (Resistance Tech)
Paige (Resistance Gunner)
Poe Dameron (Resistance Pilot)

I like what I see so far - nice removable helmets, Porg and mouse droid; WAY better value than lame TFA parts we got.

Also, 3/11 ladies - decent showing for the ladies, hope they ship enough to avoid the #wheres[female] crowd.  :P

Initial impressions - on the whole, these figures are a big leap ahead of the initial TFA ones. Very good across the board. Like the lack of silly accessories, love the inclusion of sensible ones like the Porg, like the packaging. On the minus side, this is very underwhelming in that this a lot of a familiar territory. The costumes and some characters are heavily reminiscent of TFA. Very little new. I know some have cited Disney and their hard lid on spoilers as being the reason, but I think it’s just as much a lack of imagination at the production level. Where is the spirit in always delivering something new, whether it’s costumes or ships or planets? Rogue One had this in spades, but so far the sequels run a bit behind.

Luke Skywalker (Jedi Master) - FINALLY! Looks great.

Rey (Jedi Training) - Looks great.

Chewbacca with Porg - Porg to the rescue. This Chewie isn't as good as the last one.

C-3PO - I guess.

Finn (Resistance Fighter) - great figure, but would prefer to see one of his alternate costumes.

Kylo Ren - Looks very good.

General Hux with Mouse Droid - An improvement, but would have liked to see a removable coat.

First Order Stormtrooper - Maybe swivel elbows?

Rose (Resistance Tech) - Looks like her.

Paige (Resistance Gunner) - This is probably the coolest figure. Looks great.

Poe Dameron (Resistance Pilot) - Don't know why Hasbro is leading out with this Poe when both his 5 POA and SA versions are still peg warming hard.  I get the long lead times, but man. He has other looks as well. Huge pass for me.

The likenesses look okay so far.  I know that I'd l like to see some more images in higher resolution before saying much more.  As for the character selection?  It's pretty safe, and is sticking to some characters that we know are part of the story without giving anything away.  I also like the pack-ins.  The Porg that's packed in with Chewie is cool, as is the mouse droid with Hux.  I'm hoping that at least one First Order character will get that white First Order Sentry Droid packed in with it, too.

Wasn't gonna look but now I gotta.  Removable helmets alone is a huge leap imho.  Makes customizing more fun and easy.

I only saw the removable helmets for Poe Dameron and Paige.  Kylo Ren is unmasked, and I didn't see a pack-in helmet with him.

Apparently the helmeted version comes with this Force Link thing. Pics are floating around but I haven't found them yet. I've seen close ups now of the figures and the sculpts are amazing. Outstanding work by Hasbro.

Let's try to refrain from praising Hasbro people. I'm pretty sure that's illegal
