Boba's not that bad. Still no Marmit. I have the gray version from my local TRU and hope I get the blue one from EE.

Let me echo the sentiments for a line of Knights Of The Old Republic figures.  This is by far one of the best games LucasArts has ever made, and the characters really hold up.

It's by far one of the best because they had nothing to do with the development, just the publishing. I hope KotOR II: The Sith Lords is just as great. Perhaps after that is released (scheduled for winter of this year, I'm not holding my breath), they'll make a few characters from both games?

How much is he? $225 for sure? I saw it was less than $250 and that's it....

I don't have money; I can't preorder :(

I can't wait to see the new Luke head though! I probably will never end up owning more than one if that many of these. I have my eye on props now and those can get up into the triple digits as well. I'll stick to the Hasbro 12" line of action figures.

I think all of the vintage 12" guys (save for the Jawa and R2-D2) had the same sized packaging. The vintage Chewie, Vader, IG-88, and even Boba Fett were all taller than 12" so I don't think the box will be any different.

I got the PotF2 3P0 as a kid and think a Vader would do nicely next to it (too bad it's not electronic; I don't need room for figures). I don't mind getting a Boba or a Stormie either. Those are two figures I can always use in a scene. As for Han  and Chewie with the 3P0 case? Please, give me a break! ::)

They'll most likely be $200-$250. I can only drool over them and maybe get one as a gift if I'm lucky.

Looks great to me. The head was the only thing that I wasn't thrilled about on the last one.

I'm leaving him in the box since he's VOTC though.

I saw those. They do look quite cool. I'm mildly disappointed in how articulated they are but look at Han! He's amazing. He looks better than Luke who doesn't really look like Mark Hamill. It's closer than Hasbro has ever come but I feel something's amiss.

What other characters do you all wanna see? Vader and Luke are coming out next year (can't wait to see Vader) but they've got a license for three years. Boba Fett would be amazing and I'm not one who's a big Boba Fett fanatic. A Stormie would be nice as well. If they're willing to make a female body, Leia's a must as well.

18" Action Figures

I was misled to believe they'd be more articulated as they really are. Their articulation seems to vary depending on who the figure is of. Still, it seems to be very limited. The arms are usually what are most poseable. They're all very impressive and my desire to see them has no changed any. These beat the Unleashed (which I do not collect nor do I really even like) anyday. I'd love to own them but the price is way too high. Perhaps I'll manage to snag at least one as gift of some sort.

-Dark Forces/Jedi Knight:

Maybe save for the Reborn and Cultists variants, I'd get them all and would still be begging for more.

Moff Rebus (Dark Forces)
Crix Madine (Dark Forces)
Grave Tusken (Jedi Knight)
Abron Mar (Mysteries of the Sith)
Desann (Jedi Outcast)
Tavion (Jedi Outcast)
Tavion (Jedi Academy)
Rosh Panin (Jedi Academy)

The list goes on....

I like your idea of a accessory pack and really like how you listed how Kyle manages to lug that stuff around with him. I'd add a broken DT Weapon to the list that he recovers from Tak Base as well as the Bowcaster.

A 12" Kyle from Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II with loads of accessories would be awesome.

Wait, these are statues and not action figures? I read the article at Sideshow and I think you guys got things backward unless there's another article besides this one that says otherwise. They're referring to these things as figures and not statues.

I guess we'll all see when the pics from Comic Con come out.

I've ordered the series already and they're gonna ship sometime later this month but if I see a Stormie or Boba in the store, I will be very tempted to get one of each loose to put into the rest of my 12" collection.

1:6 Scale Figures and Collectibles / Re: 12" 2-1B and Lobot
« on: July 17, 2004, 01:12 PM »
I've always wanted a 12" Lobot. I hope this news is accurate. Well, for them to release it at least. Minor characters are needed over the remakes of main characters (and in the case of the quick draw Han and the elusive Obi-Wan in the newest series, they're not as good looking as the original).

Here TRUS is full of all of the Bounty Hunter Series 2, Han Quick Draw, and AT-ST Driver. I was lucky to even get Lando Skiff and I ordered the Biker Scout and Garindan Series. I did see Obi-Wan from the Garindan series last week at Meijer but his box was all crushed.

I read on Rebelscum's list of 12" guys the three VOTC guys we know of but they also listed a Chewbacca. This must be what they were referring to. I really wanna see a picture of it because frankly I think all the past Chewies have not been that good looking.

That's interesting news about them all being VOTC.
