it's been my observation, that even marking these repro items as such, hasn't helped to prevent someone selling them as legit. someone just has to forget to mention in an ebay auction that an item which is a repro, but looks so close to the real thing that an average collector wouldn';t notice the difference, isn't a repro and the damage is done. one of the many reasons I'm against the selling of customs/repros in general, it's just not going to end well most of the time....
