OH...MY...GOD!!!
That is the most gorgeous cantina I've ever seen!!!
excuse me while I pick my jaw up off the floor...
-
Oh man Daigho, that's pretty sweet... And do I see IG-88's head appropriately placed? Very nice... :)
Greg, do you happen to have more photos as well? I'd like to see more details on it and if there's an exterior and stuff... Everyone collecting should have a looksee at that. That's a really accurate set up man.
-
Awesome. I too would love to see more pictures. Great diorama and thank you for sharing.

Wow, this is just amazing Greg. Love it, love it! I'll comment in more detail soon. I just spoke with Stephen Hayford the other day and he made a great cantina too.
:)

I saw these over at RS (based on a tip from Smartypants). All I can say is WOW. As an amateur diorama building, I'm stunned at the way this all came together. Simply amazing.
-
I'm not worthy to compliment this piece of work. I'll go through and talk about each piece Daigo.
The tables: look great although just tad to big but the replication is top notch, I also like hte lights built in.
The stools look great.
Those booth seats are amazing they actually look like you could sit on them.
The droid detector is amazing looks like a screen cap.
Great job on the IG 88 head cast placed all over, they look perfect, as does all the metal tubing you got bent around.
The giant rockover the Bar looks great too and the rubber wiring all around the bar makes it look like a edge that they would have on a big table/bar like htat.
Great Job Daigo

WOW!!!! :o
That is amazing Daigo-Bah!
What kind of lights did you use for over the bar? They seem very white, which looks great! More pics please!!!
-
That Cantina is spectacular. Excellent work Daigo-Bah!
-
more pics. more pics. this is really great, i can't believe how realistic this looks. but where's Chewie and DR. E? the only things i'd suggest is to add some fine sand in some of the corners, i don't know how to get to stay in place other then glue.
-
that rocks :o :o
-
holy crap that is awesome! What is the material you used on the walls?
-
Thanks guys! Here are a few more:

To answer a few questions/comments:
1) The walls are styrofoam sheets coated in plaster of paris and sanded down lightly.
2) I agree the tables are a bit larger than they should be! I couldn't find plumbing caps a little smaller.
3) The lighting in the tables and above the bar are X-mas lights.
4) I didn't include figures whose sculpts I can't like, including Evazan and Wolfman. I am hoping to get another early bird Chewie to put in there, and the Praying Mantis.
5) There isn't an exterior unfortunately... seems like every dio I make is more of a miniature movie set as opposed to a playset, so there are a lot of exposed parts "off-camera"!
-
WOW! :o
I feel like I'm watching ANH with alternate camera angles! The walls and floor are very realistic. That drink dispenser is great! Wonderful, wonderful work!
Does that "blue cross" thing at the entrance light up?
-
Have my babies? Please?
Gorgeous set. I think the tables are perfect!

the table the lighhtning and the tonnika sisters are awesome !
-
I had to spotlight this at www.yakface.com. Thanks for the permission Greg.
:)

Wow!! :o That thing is a thing of beauty. Very impressive. You did a great job on the cantina. It looks so life like. I really like all the lights you have added. The lights really made it stand out.
-
thats an awsome piece of work! definetley one of if not the best mos eisley cantina set up i've ever seen! the lighting is spectacular, the tables as well as the bar. the texture of the walls looks very realistic and the charecter set up is great. i don't know if your cantina is set up to be roomy or if you have your figures arranged in a roomy set up but it looks great, not over crowded or to sparce, just right. again man great work, an awsome set up!
-
Hands down best diorama I have ever seen. Stunning.
-
Simply stunning! Very nice work. The lighting is supurb.
-
Hands down best diorama I have ever seen. Stunning.
This sums it up!
AWESOME!
-
The construction is awesome, but the lighting is phenomenal. The flourescent lighting above the bar makes the dio spot-on to its movie counterpart. And the table "mood lighting" is a nice touch too. I'm thoroughly impressed.
-
There are no words to describe how cool this is. This is an exceptional peice of work, Kudos to you.
The fact that there are actual lights is amazing in itself. Exactly what are the dimensions on this?
-
Simply stunning. Wow. Excuse me while I get a mop to mop up the drool.
Love the bar mixing station. It looks like you have about almost every Cantina alien ever made! Great work Daigo-Bah.
-
Amazing. Looks dead on for the movies. Can't come up with better words than have been listed already. Just curious, how long did you work on that? It rivals anything I saw at C2 or C3. And even has the Tonnika twins.
-
Love the cantina its great love the tonnika sisters, but what really interests me is the djas puhr sitting down in the booth, what did you do to his legs so he has got articulation there, as I dont like the djas puhr as is, I dont like the bottom half and was wondering if you could tell me how you did it, or anyone on here have any suggestions how I can do it, I have the figure of djas puhr and I was excited when he came out until I saw the legs.
-
Very impressive and very accurate! I love the lights dude :)
This dio ROCKS!
-
Very Impressive,
I wish I had the skills to puul that one off. I am envious of your talent.
Keep up the great work,
Fritzkrieg
-
again, this thing is amazing too.
