Not exactly Marvel Legends, but I decided to pick up the new Spidey 2 super duper hyper ultra articulated Spiderman figure this weekend (or whatever it is called).  I just wanted to have one Spidey to go in my Marvel (X-Men) collection, because outside of the X-Characters, he was my favorite comic/character.  This figure really is amazing, and the number of poses you can achieve with the articulation it has is outstanding.  I would highly recommend it if you're looking for a nice Spidey fig.

Although I know some people really dislike these figures, I was fortunate enough to find an animated Obi-Wan this past weekend, and I really like these figures.  They are something different, to be sure, but still cool in their own way.  I really hope to be able to locate all of the figures in the two waves, but for now its just my lonely Obi .  One thing I really like about these figures are their cards.  Although it might not work great for the regular line, they are really neat for this line....with the big picture of the character on the side of the bubble...they really do stand out.  I could spot the Obi Wan hanging on the peg from a ways away because of the card and bubble alone.  I actually wouldn't mind seeing some animated-style OT figures, if they ever do a cartoon of those characters some day.  Just something different to collect I guess.  But, at the same time, I am with those that say they don't want them taking up shelf space from basic, (especially OT) figures.  Those are still #1 with me .

I wanted to thank everyone for this thread, and for the advice in these forums.  I am admittedly a vintage novice, but am slowly working towards getting a loose, complete set of the first 77 figures.  After that, who knows, maybe the rest of the figures, or maybe on to vehicles.  Although I really enjoy the modern stuff (especially with the 2004 stuff coming out, OT heavy), vintage is just so much fun to collect, and really takes me back.  I can still remember when and where I found a few of my favorite vintage figs on the pegs (actually on the pegs, not ordered online like today )  Anyways, getting somewhat caught up with some modern stuff, and scaling back on prequel stuff right now has given me the opportunity to get back to some vintage collecting, and I appreciate all of the knowledge I gain from you guys here in the forum.  Thanks!

I can only think of a few off hand, although I guess toy collecting is kind of a guilty pleasure too .

Music  Michelle Branch - I have been a fan of almost all of her music I have heard, and I'm not sure why, it just always seems like men get made fun of if they like "girls" music , but there are many talented female artists.

Television  I'm in the same boat with those who have mentioned Trading Spaces.  My wife and I watch that show quite often, along with other shows along the same genre...such as Clean Sweep, and occasionally While You Were Out...all on TLC.  Another television one would be the Fox show "the OC".  My wife has been watching this show from the start, and I have been watching it with her...and I hate to admit it, I'm hooked.

Oh, had to add one other television one...cartoons.  These are aside from ones such as Simpsons, Futurama, Home Movies, and Family Guy.  I guess I don't quite consider those "cartoons", even though they are.  I enjoys me a cartoon now and then, depending on what it is.  Classic Looney Tunes, MOTU, superhero type cartoons, and occasionally Spongebob Squarepants...I don't know, I find it funny sometimes.

Food  I guess it would be Pizza.  It is something my wife and I both enjoy to eat, but know we shouldn't too terribly often.  I'm also a big fan of Cheddar Jack cheez-its, but I'm not ashamed to eat those .

I really hope that the Seinfeld on DVD rumors turn out to be true.  That is one series that we have been hoping for, for quite some time.  2004 looks to be a great year for DVDs, with the (hopeful) arrivals of the Star Wars OT on DVD, Clone Wars Micro-Series, Seinfeld, Return of the King, and a lot of other great titles.  I like the fact that more places are embracing the concept of television series on DVD, the problem is there gets to be so many that a person wants to buy .

I was just wondering if any of you check out the daily comics (funnies, cartoons, whatever you might call them).  Growing up, I always read them in the newspaper (especially on Sundays, which in Nebraska is the only day of the week that the comics were in color!).  My Dad, brother and I would read them together...some sort of a tradition...probably sounds silly.  Since I work online all the time, I take a moment each day to visit Ucomics.com, to check out some of my favorites.  I always enjoy the classics...Calvin and Hobbes reprints (I wish this comic was still going), Peanuts, Garfield, Dilbert (from time to time)...and I think my favorite anymore is Fox Trot.  I guess I just find this comic funny, plus there are often mentions of Star Wars, LOTR, and other "geeky" stuff .  Do you have any other favorites that you might recommend?  Or do you read comics at all?

This is a really great idea JesseJames, and I know I'd be all for it if Hasbro went this route.  Like you said, it is a great way to get a number of SA army building figures out there (Stormies, Scout Troopers, Hoth Troopers, Snowtroopers, etc.)...but I also really like your idea of incorporating some of the main characters in there.  I really think if Hasbro would be able to go all out on SA versions of Luke, Han, Obi, Vader, etc....as well as the army-building types, there would be the best percentage of "happy" collectors they have seen, as well as a great way to bring kids into the line.  I know if I was a kid, I'd be all over a "Han vs. Stormtrooper" or "Jedi Luke vs. Vader" type of two packs, in fact...I'd be all over it now, as long as they were still sculpted well too.  We know they are capable of doing both (sculpt/articulation), we've seen their best work before...now if they just applied it in this way .  Great idea, and thanks for posting it.

My wife and I have been talking about going to see this as well, we have been looking forward to this since we first saw the trailers, looks like it might be pretty good.  Either that, or I could handle going to see ROTK again , but my wife doesn't feel like sitting in the theatre for another four hours I don't think .
