Title: Looks Like BidPay Is Toast!

Now sure if anyone saw this at BidPay!

Effective December 31, 2005, BidPay.com, Inc. will be discontinuing operations. As a result, BidPay will no longer offer payment services to the online auction industry. We regret any inconvenience to our users and thank them for their loyal patronage. Customer service will remain available at bidpayservice@bidpay.com through the month of February.

So much for other services for online auction payments!  :-\

It was a good idea - sending money orders out for online bidders - very little trouble in regards to identity fraud (IE:  paypayl).

I used them a few times. Never really caught on with the online auction folks. Well with Ebay buying Paypal this is no shocker.

Just can't compete with Ebay.
