My wife and I are pretty crafty little money saving penny pinchers. We've got a bunch of things we do to save a little here and there, including:
- Recycling cans and bottles (including at my office)
- Cutting coupons
- Hitting (and waiting for) store sales (obviously)
- Using cashback credit cards
- Doing our "high end" shopping in a different county with a lower sales tax
- Saving up all of our loose change in a giant (2 foot) Coke bottle
- "Borrowing" office supplies ;D
- Knowing the cheapest gas station within 10 miles, and always filling up there
- Price matching/beating using printed ads at various stores
- Using the "neighborhood coupons" that get mailed to us for most of the local establishments
I'm sure there's many more, but I just can't think of 'em right now...
So, any other frugal, penny pinching tightwads out there?! :P If so, how do YOU save money?

I am becoming a bit of a penny pincher myself.
I return my bottles and cans
I save my change in jars
I Buy neutral clothing that way I dont need to get new clothes 3 times a year
I call several stores to get the best deal
Yub yub.
Thats what I do.
Kevin
Oh yeah, and I got a Job too....

I need to figure out a way to save money. Maybe I'll stop paying bills... nevermind... I'll go away now... :-[

He he, dont pay bills...Thats a good idea! I mean, what do I need a phone or heat for anyway...
Wait...
Kevin

Oh yeah... I almost forgot about those necessities... ;D

Simple- I have my parents pay for everything. ;)

Pshhhh.
Its much better to earn your money, because after a hard week of work, you can get your paycheck, and say, it was worth it.

Or you can earn money and still have parents pay for everything.

I am horrible, just horrible at saving anything. Really the only way I do save anything is by having most of the plans set up with automatic withdrawl. Otherwise I wouldn't save a damn cent and spend it all
I actual do have a lot of different money plans...
401k at work
Money Market for Savings
Life Insurance with a cash value
College Fund for the boy
Home Equity Line of Credit which acts as a savings tool for future home repair and upgrades
So I do OK, but like I said if we didn't live in an automated society I would be screwed.
So to also cut some corners, we do the following:
Can Reccycling for dollars
Cut Coupons
I sell Pop at work and make a little extra on the side doing so

When I see a new figure I want, I buy it, replace it with an older version, and return it for in-store credit. ;D
Okay not really, but I've seen remnants from these kind of shenanigans. Actually, I save money by:
- Turning off the lights (who needs lights honestly?)
- Getting rid of those premium pay channels (no time to watch)
- NOT subscribing to the newspaper (no time to read)
- Buying toys online rather than wasting gas on fruitless "hunts"
- Coupons, coupons, coupons!
- Price matching
- Buy those DVDs the first week of release rather than later when they're 25% more expensive (at least that's what I tell MrsPL).
-
I have teenage children....saving money and teenage children don't even belong in the same sentence. :D
When they are gone, I'll let you know (hey..that's the answer!! Get rid of the kids and I'll be saving money!!) ;)
-
Sell them on ebay.
Thats all I can say.
Kevin
*Note, I could sell my baby sisters on ebay! :D

Well not finding much Star Wars product at retail has helped me save quite a bit of money this year :)
Sorry, that comment was just sitting there waiting to be typed.
