Thanks to Yakface for heads up. EE exclusive Piett pre orders are up

Pretty disappointing likeness compared to what they did with Tarkin.
Is this a shared exclusive and if so, with whom?
-
True, but you could put a tird in an Imperial officer uniform and I'd want it.
And no Justin that isn't my feelings about the movies themselves.
-
I had seen some rumors about something like this happening, but I thought they might be just that. Still, it does seem like Hasbro is moving forward with some Imperials in an interesting way. I guess they must be capitalizing on the work they did with Tarkin and Thrawn. And it leaves me hopeful that Hasbro might get to General Veers, too.

I'm starting to burn out on 6" figures. I just opened about twenty that had been backing up in my Star Wars room. Opening Finn in First Order disguise and the First Order Officer / Ackbar pack got me thinking about how many of these I have and how they've gone from must have iconic figures in to the realm of 3.75" blink and you've missed them on screen figures.
Unfortunately Nick I think I've got the exact opposite opinion of this, but its probably just my OCD where I feel like I need to have a complete collection of these after I've bought the first 125 6" figures. I think I just need to switch gears and only buy 6" figures that are interesting to me.
I loved opening the Jawa, Hera, Thrawn and others, but there were probably 25% of the figures that I opened that induced buyers remorse.

Up for pre-order at BBTS now too... as always (#ad) I like when folks support our sponsors (EE, Amazon) but I understand people have to pick the right option for their own budget.
EE = $21.99 plus $6.95 shipping (https://www.entertainmentearth.com/product/star-wars-the-black-series-admiral-piett-6inch-action-figure-exclusive/hse2813?id=JE-405087801) [$28.94 total]
BBTS = $24.99 plus $4 shipping (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/73639) [$28.99 total] - (if you want mint/collector grade box, it's an extra $2)
-
Whoops, I preordered last night at midnight when I was getting all my LEGO stuff out of the way. If I contact EE, do you think they'd change it so I could get the sponsor credit for JD?
-
Dorkside Toys also seems to be offering up Admiral Piett, too. It's nice to know that there are some options, since I almost always get the shaft when it comes to shipping from EE.
-
I'm totally missing what's so outlandish about $7 shipping and handling

Price out their shipping to the east coast. It's always a major pain. Almost every EE order I've ever made where I don't load up the order to hit their pretty high free shipping threshold ends up with shipping being around $15 - $20.
-
So what is with the varying IN STOCK status of Admiral Piett among online retailers? For a while it seemed like only EE had it in stock. And now it seems that BBTS has them, too. But Dorkside Toys, the etailer I ordered from? Nothing.
-
I got a shipping notice from EE about my Piett late Friday night.

Toy store stock is odd in general right now. I’m waiting on an acid rain order that was a couple hundred and so I wanna pay it right away but bbts has had theirs forever now and EE I’m still waiting on. Usually they’re perfectly in sync.
-
I saw word circulating about how etailers were getting Piett, down to the fact that they were doing direct imports. I wound up ordering from BBTS and cancelling my prior order.

Got my Piett in the mail yesterday, after taking almost two weeks to ship here from EE. Phenomenal likeness, and I'm really glad I picked this one up.
