Looks like today's reveals belong in this wave. (They're really going to pack the Dark Trooper at x2 in the assorted case? ???)
2024 VC271 Dark Trooper
2024 VC330 HK-87 Assassin Droid (Arcana)
-
I can't wait to pick up even more of them for $4 later!
Did they give a preorder time for these and are we sure that Dark Trooper is a straight re-pack?
-
They didn't even include an extra open hand... I guess I'll take one carded (because I am one of those suckers), but If I ever decide I need more to open for some reason, I'll stick with the clearanced deluxe version.
-
I’ll def get that HK droid…eventually.
-

Sorry, that blurb was in the other thread -> "both available for pre-order 3/27 at 1pm ET at Amazon, Hasbro Pulse and other major retailers."
It is supposed to be a straight repack, but you know how that goes where sometimes there is some difference in the paint apps or whatever (like the little red dots on the chest plate or some random silver highlights).
-
I think someone at EE is having difficulty with this case listing. Because the way it's currently listed adds up to 9 figures:
2x TBD
1x TBD
2x Mae (Assassin)
1x Jedi Master Sol
1x HK-87 Assassin Droid (Arcana)
2x Dark Trooper
-
Here's to hoping it was an error and the Dark Trooper is supposed to be 1x to a case...
-
I guess we'll know soon enough. Links should be going live on the preorders in a few minutes.

Much appreciated. Every little bit helps to keep the lights on around here.

Minor name change to this thread - sounds like this will not get here until October so it'll be Wave 6 this year. The fan channel Kanan/Ezra wave is due in August so that will likely be Wave 5 (hard to get the orders on these correct when Hasbro keeps moving things around and going through piecemeal reveals 1-2 figures at a time ::)).
-
Was out all day and didn't have a chance to post - going up for pre-order tomorrow:

Who do we think the last figure is? Kelnacca maybe?
-
That's a good guess. It feels like whoever it is, it will be one that The Black Series gets too, it could also be the Sith-looking fella who seems to be pulling the strings with Mae. I feel like if it were just one of the other Jedi, there's no reason they wouldn't have announced it on the initial livestream.
-
I'd fully expect him in a $24.99 deluxe box at some point. Can't see them letting him go for $16.99.
-
Of course they are going to do Kelnacca...where do you think the new legs for Chewbacca are coming from??? ;)
-

Yeah, if they do Kelnacca, we're definitely going to have to pay the DLX box price for him.

Same. They saved the Osha reveal until the show aired. If that last figure is from Acolyte, the Sith/Dark Master is a good guess. Or maybe the Mother from this week's episode?
-
There's a lot of potential for figures from the Acolyte, without a doubt. Will Hasbro go there with the whole flashback to Brendak? It'll be interesting to see. I know that I was glad to see more of Master Indara in this week's episode, despite the events of the first episode.

Kind of strange they still haven't revealed the last figure in this wave. Rumors say it is a repack and not a new figure...
-
Osha Aniseya is VC327. And there's currently a figure TBD slated as VC326. Seriously wondering if that might be the Stranger, and the figure TBD in this wave.
-
It's going to be really interesting to see what impact the lack of success and subsequent cancellation of The Acolyte has on this wave and the future pipelined figures. I wonder if people have canceled any preorders? I'd also expect these will sit at regular retail and are all destined for the outlet and second-hand stores.
Hopefully, there's enough time for Hasbro to lower some of the production numbers to get ahead of this, but it doesn't seem likely that, that is the case given the expected October release. I am increasingly wishing they would move to a model where all of the figures for new shows came out on an 18-month delay to see what goes over well with fans to get us the figures we actually want sooner and hopefully have fewer duds in the lineup.
I don't plan on cancelling any of my orders, but outside of a Stranger & Kelnacca, I definitely don't want anything else from The Acolyte anytime soon.

Yeah, if they are due in October they are probably being loaded onto the boat now. No chance of dialing it back.
Also, putting everything out with an 18-month delay would be counter to the whole point of toys in modern Lucasfilm/Disney's mind, which is to promote the current media. There seems to be no interest in the profits to be had from the merchandising any more, it is all just an advertising expense so they don't even try to make things hardcore fans want, so long as the "Star Wars" name is out there in front of the consumer in some form. It is depressing as a toy fan.
-
I'm still for a wave of six figures from any new media that ideally is timed to come out within a few months of the show's release.
I don't really care if a show is cancelled or not if I'm looking for cool Star Wars stuff to add to the shelf. BoBF was stupid, but I'd take the six coolest figures from that show. They may not make another season of Ahsoka and I'll take the six best figures from that show. Same goes for the Acolyte.
I can have a little corner of a shelf for each show's content, or if it makes sense I could incorporate it in to another shelf where it sort of makes sense. For example I probably wouldn't feel bad about having The Acolyte figures sit in a corner of a Prequel Trilogy shelf.

According to Jayson, they are already arriving in the US ports (https://x.com/yak_face/status/1821875466560471167). Takes about 3-4 weeks for Hasbro to get them and then another 3-4 weeks to get out to the retailers for shipping. Moves faster if the item is exclusive. (Took the Jabba set about 3 weeks to go from Jayson spotting it on port manifests to shipping from Pulse).

I go back and forth on this. One of the major reasons I stopped collecting comic book figures was "incomplete team syndrome" where they do like 80% of a team and move on without completing it. I HATE when this happens in the Star Wars line too. Like, don't bother giving me TVC Indara and Yord if I'm not also getting Jecki and Kelnacca and Torbin to fill out the shelf. My OCD just hates that.
At the same time though, I don't really want them to do nothing for a show either. It just sucks when they make choices like "we'll do The Stranger later" to save the surprise and then 'later' never comes. (NOTE TO HASBRO: Still waiting on a 3.75" figure of Dryden Vos, thanks!)

Just to be clear I'm not advocating for only six figures per media property, EVER. I think its a good place to start with a case of 8 figures where you can put a couple army builders/repacks in a case along with six new ones.
After the first six you could go back and ideally fill in any "incomplete teams" in later waves.
I just want enough core figures to be able to do something with. Andor pains me with its two Cassians and a Vel. Those two were hardly even in that many scenes together.
-

You could... it just sucks that these days "in later waves" might be like 5 years later.
-
As you mentioned, still waiting on Dryden Vos and its only been 8 years for the main bad guy in the film to be made.
-
(NOTE TO HASBRO: Still waiting on a 3.75" figure of Dryden Vos, thanks!)
I still want Lor San Tekka, and here I sit.
Between him, The Client, and Luthen Rael... I feel like they're really ignoring the old folks.
-
Justice for Marva Andor!
-
Shop.Disney just pulled all Acolyte merch from their online store. It really feels like those pipelined figures may get canceled and this wave will be headed to stores like Ross & Ollie's in the not-too-distant future...

"all Acolyte merch" was really only some T-shirts and they are back now for the most part. Seems like it was a temporary thing.

It was enough for the fandom menace a-holes to get more clicks.

Ah, good. I guess I didn't see how much had been on there in the first place.

This wave started to hit Walmart stores on the East Coast this past weekend and overnight I got a whole bunch of "coming next week" emails from Amazon...
-
So who is the “missing figure” from this wave? I read back through the previous pages and never saw a definitive answer on that.

So who is the “missing figure” from this wave? I read back through the previous pages and never saw a definitive answer on that.
At first there were rumors it was supposed to be Jude Law's character from Skeleton Crew (https://forum.rebelscum.com/threads/the-vintage-collection-general-toy-discussion-thread.1070198/page-1506#post-20725358). Then, late July there were rumors it was K-2SO instead, but he ended up in the case with Mando/Thrawn/Ahsoka/etc.
Based on the cases that have hit Walmart, it looks like there is no other figure - it's now 2x HK Droid, 2x Dark Trooper, 2x Sol, 1x Mae, 1x Osha.
-
Heard this wave might be hitting so I hopped in the car last night to scope it out.
5 Walmarts, 2 Gamestops, and 1 Target later, I can safely assume these have not arrived in Southern CA yet.
Also hit 2 Ross for good measure, but there were no TVC in sight.
I can see why a lot of folks have migrated to online shopping :)
-
I got a whole bunch of "coming next week" emails from Amazon...
HK87 v2 and Mae should be here later today, but now my Osha pre-order has the 'delayed, not yet shipped' status...
-
Got Shipping Soon emails from Pulse for Sol,
Mae Osha, and the Dark Trooper.
-
I bought an HK droid from Amazon but he showed up all smashed so the hunt continues. :(
-
my Osha pre-order has the 'delayed, not yet shipped' status...
Got my Amazon shipping notice for Osha finally as well as an Amazon shipping notice for Sol.
-
I got this wave in Amazon shipments recently - except for the Dark Trooper, oddly enough. And I also came across the wave at Walmart. Who knew you could actually find new figures at brick & mortar retail?!?!?
I really like the figures from The Acolyte. I think they came out really well! And I think Master Indara will be a great addition to the set. I'm just hoping that it doesn't end there for the series, and that Hasbro can make the Stranger and Kelnacca before moving on from the series.

Agreed, they are very well done. Sol is a fantastic Jedi figure & both Osha & Mae turned out really nice as well. Depending on how things shake out, if this wave ever ends up at Ross/Ollie's/etc. I will definitely be picking up a bunch of extras for customs. The cardbacks look really sharp on these ones too.
HK-87's new paint job looks good, but I wish this one still came with the E5 blaster. The Dark Trooper is now the only figure I am waiting on from this wave as well.
-

I think my list is: Torbin (Padawan), Kelnacca, Yord, Jecki, Vernestra, and The Stranger (with alternate heads). After that, they can move on. I'd buy the two witch moms but don't need them.

Yord was a pipeline reveal at SDCC, so there's that. I think the rest of the characters you named are all solid choices. The only others that I would consider? Osha (civilan outfit), Bazil, and another Osha from the scene where she bleeds the kyber crystal in Sol's lightsaber, and possibly Qimir before he revealed himself.
-
I'd agree with both your choices. I'd buy them.
