Post by: Wace Mindu on May 15, 2004, 05:08 PM
Is this  the separatist ship in which palpatine is held hostage on at the beginning of Episode III?

Yes it is ;)  That was one of the pictures we leaked here a few months ago.  We were told that is the main separatist ship and will be the focus of the opening act of the movie

I wonder which branch of the Seps it's from?  Not a Trade Fed design judging by how it appears...  Quarren perhaps?

I'm anxious for the new films just for all the new information.

There's a nice new Post Notes article up on Hyperspace about that opening sequence. Its starting to sound quite good.  8) It apparently takes place in the uppermost part of Coruscant's atmosphere, and we'll be seeing cruisers billow smoke while the air is scattered with anti-aircraft flak. It has me all giddy. I don't think I could take another generic spacebattle against a starfield blah event. This is starting to sound dynamic, visually interesting, and may actually have a point!
