Title: A question to Star Wars fans.
Post by: Lady Jaye on December 13, 2004, 12:56 AM
Ok we all know that most of us here would have, in a heartbeat, appeared in one of the Prequel films, even Episode 1. I have a few questions though, that I don't think have been asked before!!

1. Would you want an action figure based on your obscure character??

2. Would you want a figure of yourself, even if it was as a human character, not an alien??

3. Would you go to those Star Wars cons and autograph the thousands of pics and or figures the fans present to you??

4. What about the thousands of photos they would ask to take with them??

5. Would you quit your job to do the cons full time??

6. What would be your limit as to appearances??

I am in Episode 3. That is the reason I have been absent as of late, this is no joke. I have been told to not say anything until now and I feel this thread is a good place to let out the news. I will be appearing for approx. 4 minutes of the movie if the footage is put in the movie as it is planned at this point. I also have signed to do an action figure at some point (will be later on since it is a bit more obscure). I can say that I play a human character and this will be what reveals my face and age to everyone on the site. That is the surprise that I have been holding out on for all of this time.

Don't get all excited, B.  Chris is likely just full of ****.  Don't believe him for a minute!   ;)

But boss, if you are in Ep. 3, I'll kiss your ass like never before.

But if you're lying, I'll kick the **** out of it!   :-*

Either way, I'll be doing something with your ass...

(does that sound bad?   :P)

That'd rock...  I want my Chris Berry figure NOW!

Anyway...

1. Would you want an action figure based on your obscure character??

Yea, why not?  Hell I wanna make customs of me so I may as well have the pros do it too.  Knowing Hasbro they'd pre-pose it, give it an action feature, and I'd have a missle fire out my ass, but at least the figure woudl be made.

2. Would you want a figure of yourself, even if it was as a human character, not an alien??

See above...  If it's a bad likeness I'd be PO'd though.

3. Would you go to those Star Wars cons and autograph the thousands of pics and or figures the fans present to you??

Depending on the $ I figured I'd make, then likely yes...  Easy cash, spending time at a place I'd probably have paid to get into anyway.  Sure.

4. What about the thousands of photos they would ask to take with them??

I wouldn't do this much...  A) I don't like being too close to people I don't know.  B) It's time consuming and cutting into my profits.  C) I'm sure I'll get irritated at SOME of the people at some point...  Maybe even quickly.

5. Would you quit your job to do the cons full time??

Since I don't have a job that I would call a "dream job" right now, then I most certainly would since it's better than anything I currently do...  Bound to make more $ too.

6. What would be your limit as to appearances??

Enough to make the $ I want...  Nothing that interferes with my social life/private life with my parents, friends, and girlfriend either.

The day there's a Chris Berry Star Wars action figure, is the day that I STOP being a completist!   >:(

Granted, neither of those scenarios will ever happen though...

Holy hell Jason, that's like one of the best Jedi figures (in general) ever.  Poseable, nice paint...  That's just a nice custom actually.

Hahah actually I am at home tonight, no work until tomorrow nite at this time. But I did just finish a toasted cheese sammich while watching last week's episode of Lost.

Awww shucks thanks man :P But dude, you've surely seen it before, I pimped the hell out of it when I finished it.  ;D

I'm getting close to retirement so why not.

Oh a couple or more.

1. Would you want an action figure based on your obscure character??
Uh. Yes.

2. Would you want a figure of yourself, even if it was as a human character, not an alien??
See #1.

3. Would you go to those Star Wars cons and autograph the thousands of pics and or figures the fans present to you??
I'd autograph breasts, even. See how devoted I am?

4. What about the thousands of photos they would ask to take with them??
With the breasts? Uh... Okay!

5. Would you quit your job to do the cons full time??
I'm an artist and full time student. So no, I wouldn't quit school - but I've got a feeling I'd miss alot of classes over all of it. The great thing about being an artist is that I'm almost expected to be broke - so it's no biggy... but I really want my degree.

6. What would be your limit as to appearances??
I'd try to go to as many as I could, including Europe and Mexico... but not Canada. Ew.

I can say that I play a human character and this will be what reveals my face and age to everyone on the site. That is the surprise that I have been holding out on for all of this time.

The cool thing is that I already know your face/age so I'll be able to recognize you on-screen immediately. Everyone else will just be wondering which one of the thousands of extras you are.

Is your character's name Sirhc Yrreb? Wow that sucks, if so.

I still think you should have pushed for the name of 'Yeldarb Antilles', to me it just sounds so much cooler.

2. Would you want a figure of yourself, even if it was as a human character, not an alien??

Yeah.  A small measure of immortality like that is kind of appealing.

3. Would you go to those Star Wars cons and autograph the thousands of pics and or figures the fans present to you??

Having met a lot of the people who do this, I think so.  The fans I've come across who go to the autograph booths are pretty cool.

4. What about the thousands of photos they would ask to take with them??
Yeah.

Quote
5. Would you quit your job to do the cons full time??

Probably not.  I don't think it would be THAT lucrative.

Quote
6. What would be your limit as to appearances??
Travel and accomodations.  Pretty much the standard deal.

1. Would you want an action figure based on your obscure character??
No. If figures are going to be $7 a crack, who wants a figure of a blond human Jedi?

2. Would you want a figure of yourself, even if it was as a human character, not an alien??
See #1

3. Would you go to those Star Wars cons and autograph the thousands of pics and or figures the fans present to you??
Guess not.

4. What about the thousands of photos they would ask to take with them??
I'd do the photos with the fans of the female persuasion, sure. Many and often.

5. Would you quit your job to do the cons full time??
Hell yes, but I'd hate to become the James Doohan of the convention circuit.

6. What would be your limit as to appearances??
SDCC and Wizard World Chicago and C3, since they seem to have the best figure exclusives.
