This is my version of the upcoming Shadow Stormtrooper exclusive. He is based on the back of the card picture of the Shadow Stormtrooper. I liked it because they used a blue body glove instead of just spray painting a stromtrooper black and adding some white highlight to the helmet like the one we are really getting. Sorry about brightness of the picture. It's next to impossible for me to photograph a shiny black figure and not lose detail in the reflections.

I know what it's like in having trouble getting the detail to show on pics with figures like that.
Good custom Phruby, looks like you are going to save yourself some money!
I might get a few of them still, if I can afford it.
From what I see on the details you did a good job. Did you spray paint the base black?
:P

Thanks Chewie. No spray paint here. I painted the body glove first, then the black armor. No Hasbro painting for me.

Phurby, Nice Shadow trooper. I'm wondering if you repainted your son's Stormtrooper ;) Just kidding of course.
The attention to detail is very good on this one.

Is it Hasbro or Memorex? ;D Great paint job you got there. I love the fact that you painted the body glove a diffrent color than the armor. Nice attention to detail there. Good looking Shadow trooper, let the shadow game begin (woops, wrong tv show, Yugioh! ;D).

Nay, my son wouldn't let me. I painted my figure as he painted his. After I took the picture, he grabbed his figure and I havn't seen it since. That stormtrooper is probably going to help gi joe take down the evil C.A.T.S. out in the back yard.

Now package this baby up and you won't have to get the Hasbro figure yours looks perfect top stuff mate.

My son's figure is mixed in my mine for now, but he does want to keep them in his room. I just need to spray some sealer on it first. I don't want that paint job to chip away. He also told me me that he wants to take my Sith Guard and keep it in his room!

Sounds great. Let your collection expand into his room. Then your wife can't say there is no more room for new things.
Thanks guys for the comments. :D
