Title: Hasbro formula wax
Post by: Bantha5 on April 16, 2006, 01:13 PM
I posted this on the RS forums, But I know a few of you have moved over here. I have made a new batch of Hasbro formula sculpting wax(probably the last for awhile) If anyone is interested e-mail me. This batch is tinted blueish green. The wax is $15 for 120grams shipped. I will also include a few extra goodies as always.
Also I have the final 10 Neo/Cody customizing kits, So if you missed out earlier and still want a kit LMK.
I will also trade for either. I am looking for any new figures after the Hoth wave and the new VOTC figures.
Thanks Ryan

As a return customer of Bantha5's wax, this stuff is great. If you are thinking about it, just do it.
You wont regret it.

Thanks for the kind words Glassman.
Hey Guys, The Neo/cody kits are gone. There is still a small amount of wax left. After I took my share out of the batch and weighed the balance up, the wax comes in at about 130grams each packet. So those who are getting the wax will get an extra 10grams free.
Also I have received a few e-mails about how to work with wax. Here is a very basic rundown of how wax sculpting works. First of all you can not work it with your hands like clay and when you are finished you must still make a mold and resin copy to have a completed figure.
Wax must be melted to work with, a wax pen is used for that step. It must be then sculpted with carving tools( I personally use Dental tools) It takes a great deal of time and sculpt skill to get a complete sculpt. Please keep all these factors in mind if you are interested in wax sculpting. Thanks Ryan
