From Sandtroopers.com (http://www.sandtroopers.com/smf/index.php?topic=5183.180):
3) Bothans are widely talked about in the Star Wars universe, yet we have never seen a definitive image of one, nor have we ever gotten a figure of one. Can we ever hope to see some Bothans?
Yes, yes indeed. If the schedule holds, you will see one at the very end of 2007.

Maybe they'll be part the Clone Wars 3D. Too bad they just look like kangaroo or horse poeple. Not the most creative designs...
-
I hope they come with the BF II gun!
-
Very cool news, I am looking forward to that.
-
Maybe they flesh out some more of the Thrawn series as well? Bothan's were a big part of that story-
-
I'd like to see some more after ROTJ figures.
-
Is there a "definative" image of what a Bothan looks like? I've seen the one in BFII (usually as they appear, hit me with the flame gun and then I expire)...Is that most likely to be the image we get?
I'd love some POST ROTJ but Pre-Jedi order stuff too.

Yeah, I agree...I always thought the Bothan design from the comic books felt like a "dropped-the-ball" type of design. Like they could have come up with something really cool, and then ended up with Joe Camel. I always thought Pruneface was a Bothan when I was a kid, but it would have been so much cooler if Zam Wessel was a Bothan...and it would have been a nice tie-in between trilogies.
Oh well, I'm happy to have some new stuff at any rate.

I would think so. It seems that the Bothan spy is part of the video game figures coming out.
