Good news about Obi-Wan... the mechno chair is not high on my list, but a unique choice which is interesting. Going with 6 figures for the BAD, here are my choices:

Obi-Wan Kenobi
Darth Sidious hologram on mechno chair
Gungan Warrior - SA with farseeing glasses
Mawhonic
Tey How
Queen Padmé Amidala (Return to Naboo)

BAD - Nobot

Rum Sleg
Tan and Ann Gella
Kister and Wald
BAD - Nobot

So a repack of the TAC (http://www.yakface.com/TGuide2004/html/tac/evolutions/jedilegacy.html) or Legacy (http://www.yakface.com/TGuide2004/html/TLC/evolutions/evo_jedi.html) Evo versions then?

I may be in the minority here, but I wouldn't mind seeing an all-new, SA Jar Jar Binks.  Sure, I know how we all feel about Jar Jar, but he doesn't get new figures very often and his older ones (particularly the TPM one) look dated.  He was one of the main characters of this film, and I do hope he gets his "ultimate" treatment at some point.

I'm in the minority as well - as long as he's not on a OT cardback which is of something I heard rumors about somewhere awhile back.

From a past Q&A session (http://www.hasbro.com/starwars/default.cfm?page=News/Item&newsid=5198E4FA-D56F-E112-49ACBFCD98254604):

"we do have our sites set on a new Gungan for 2009, and we will probably be looking at a new Jar-Jar in 2010 or beyond."

So, you may have to wait a while, but you'll get your new SA JarJar eventually.  ;)

I can handle a new Jar Jar every couple of years, so about the time we're getting a new one feels about right.

Mahwonic hinted at by Hasbro.

Galactic Hunter's Hasbro Q&A  (http://www.galactichunter.com/absolutenm/templates/full_article_template_1.asp?articleid=7728&zoneid=2)

Also no Tikkes or Rogwa Wodrata for a while they say. :'(

Well, Ratts Tyerell has to be pretty close as well since they've got a similar sculpt of his species done for the O66 2-packs.

Pretty spiffy wave overall really.  The Obi-Wan alone makes it for me, I've really been hoping for an "ultimate" re-do of that figure/character.  The rest of the wave looks great, the Gungan in particular is pretty cool.  As much as people hate the character, it makes me want a new Jar Jar as well now.

Outstanding! I can say that I will happily buy the entire wave to send away for the Eopie.

And the B-A-D is L8-L9 from the original Clone Wars cartoon so that makes this wave even cooler!

Not a bad looking wave at all. I'd have been all over this a few years ago, but I'll probably only pick up the Obi-Wan and that spacer dude. I always liked the look of him and he looks like he could easily fit in an OT version of Tatooine.

I might actually get all of them to.  The wave actually surprised with how nice it turned out.  Yeah, a good thing because I would like another Eopie.  I am happy they made the Return to Naboo Padme.  It looks like Kenobi turned out well.

Ratts Tyerell should not have been shown in the presentation.  There were issues with the figure, and Ratts has been pushed back to a later release date.  His slot has been filled by pod racer Clegg Holdfast.

I think the rest of the wave looks amazing.

The sad thing is no Podracer 2-pack whether it's Ratts or Clegg. Those guys are so small they should be released two at a time (besides Mawhonic)... but I suppose it's like the Ugnaughts and I should deal with it.

Not too excited by this wave actually, and I'm not sure why because it looks great. I think I'll pass on the Podracers and just buy the Eopie stickers from someone here. This is definitely the year of Obi-Wan though, after this wave I'll never have to buy another version of him again! :D

Funny, I like the whole wave except for this.  Mechno Sidious feels more like an accessory than a figure to me.

While true, I don't need him to do much else. Who knows, maybe the picture is a mock up and we'll indeed get a Holo Dooku styled Sidious?

A pretty nice wave it seems...  Obi-Wan and Cleg are my favorites from it with the holo Sidious and Gungan next.  Podracers are always low on my wishlist though so I'm not really thrilled to see them filling another slot that I'd rather have seen a new Naboo Guard, Soldier, or some such.

EDIT:  By Cleg I meant the red suited freak from Mos Espa, whatever his name is...  I forget now, but not the pod dude.  The red spacer freak is pretty badass looking.

I am all over this wave. I need to replace my old EPI Obi's with this SA version. OOOH, and I'm SO army building the Gungans! 40 for me please!

Others in the wave are pretty solid. We've needed the mechano chair. Rum is cool. Not high on my list, but worth the buy. I'm actually not all that thrilled with the build-a-droid for this wave. BUt I'll be happy to own it. I'll have lots of extra pieces for this one.

Its good to see a few others saying this was some of their favorite stuff shown, because I feel the same way.  I wouldn't have thought I'd be most psyched for TPM stuff, but the Obi-Wan is a figure I've really been looking forward to - and Phantom Menace figures in general have been pretty scarce, so it seems like a lot of them could stand to be redone from the '99 line.

I love Rum Sleg.  What a freak...  Is that his face, or is that a mask?

Also that Gungan is 100% fantastic.  That may be one of the more ornate and well made figures of the last year.

I just mentioned this in the AOTC wave thread, but I'm so happy we're getting an "ultimate" Obi-Wan from TPM with this wave.  Definitely a great year for Obi-Wan fans this year it seems.  I think that Gungan Warrior looks like a great figure as well, and a nice army builder.  I'm guessing it will make us want better versions of Jar Jar and Tarpals though.

I'm fine with an upgrade to both Jar Jar and Tarpals. After all they are not army builders. So I'd only need one of each of them. Though, I might get extra Jar Jars for other diorama scenes.

We got a loose shot of Rum Sleg, and a carded shot of Queen Amidala tonight.  Head on out to the front page to take a gander at both of them.  Sleg's rockin', and Padme fans have to be happy to get another of her ornately decorated figures.

Glad ya dug it Jono.

He's probably the most interesting figure in the wave to me, except perhaps Obi-Wan who's needed a resculpt for ages.

Rum's the closest to OT goodness though, to me, that wave could muster.  Freaky and obscure.  I dig him a lot.

Title: Re: Legacy Wave 8 - The Phantom Menace (Fall 2009)
Post by: Jesse James on July 13, 2009, 03:55 PM
I'd rank those as my current favs as well, though the Gungan is a fine looking army builder.  I won't retire my POTJ army, but instead I'll mingle them a bit, weapon exchanging and such.  I'm axiously somewhat curious/anxious to see what they can do with a Jar Jar in today's quality.  That'll retire about 3 figures off my shelf.

Obi-Wan though, wow...  Is that overdue or what?  Same with the AOTC Obi, which I think may be one of the best character likenesses ever.  Humans are tough to nail, and that AOTC figure is spectacular.
Title: Re: Legacy Wave 8 - The Phantom Menace (Fall 2009)
Post by: JACKOFTRADZE on July 13, 2009, 06:37 PM
I am retiring all of my old POTJ Gungans (Except the two Faamba ones I have) but kept the weapons to mix it up when these hit. I could not agree more the AOTC & TPM Obi heads are spot on. Unrelated I feel the same way about the BP Endor Han head. Whoever is sculpting for them deserves a raise. I updated all of my Hans with that head.

I am very much looking forward to see what Hasbro has in store my interest is back big time! (I never left but I am more intrigued, It's been too slow with core line product.)

Agreed, and I wish I could've gotten extras of that BP Han for that reason.  Great figure.  I'd have liked him for my coated Han, as a replacement.

Hell I'd have dug the extra Scouts too, to make some generics with removable buckets too.

I think it might just be the picture quality, but the Obi-Wan looks kinda thin.  Looking at the high-res photos and the Toy Fair slideshow I'm still confident it's going to be an awesome figure and I'll buy multiples like I did the AOTC Obi-Wan.

The other one from this set I want is the Gungan Warrior.  A few of those interspersed in my Naboo battle scene will look great.
Title: Re: Legacy Wave 8 - The Phantom Menace (Fall 2009)
Post by: Jesse James on July 13, 2009, 11:35 PM
Kenobi IS sorta thin necked in TPM though.  I think Lucas was trying to give him a less mature look due to the age of the character.  I think McGregor beefed up slightly for AOTC and almost definately for ROTS.

I was actually thinking his slightly thinner sculpt was kind of neat, to display his youth.

A couple nice new shots of Rum Slegg came out, with and without his helmet on.  Nice to see some more of the details of his noggin and such.

I always wondered what was under the helmet on this guy...  I still don't really know.

I could imagine this guy in the cantina. He adds to a strange Halloween texture, that for me is evident in the scene, along with Labria, Helrot, My'oom and Trinto.

Also on this evidence if/when Hasbro get round to doing Cantina spacers i think wer'e in good hands.

Well there was the spacer Danz Borin, ( http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Danz_Borin ) in the cantina. So Rum could easily be customized for that, if not completely accurate.

Also Borin has been on a few rumor lists`recently. A guy in a white and grey spacesuit? Or is it the yellow flightsuited pilot that was reused for Bossk?

EDIT- just seen the wiki entry. Thanks.

I'm guessing that someone saw a proto of Rum Sleg and assumed it was Danz Borin...which is why he is on the list.  Not that I don't want a Danz Borin but it is an odd choice over a lot of the other Cantina Monsters

It certainly is. That hadn't occured to me but it makes a lot of sense. I supose Danz is way down there on my list for that scene- though i wouldn't be suprised if we get him in the future.

Considering how Hasbro have pitched Rum sleg as an aggresive and obscur character that they belive to sell well regaurdless of recognition - does this open the floodgates for more Mos espa spacers?

Haha, hilarious. It's funny how a guy like this could end up in the Star Wars movies. He does look like Jason! It's creative on Lucas's part on how he keeps his mind open for Star Wars.

Moving on to the Wave 8 itself, it's somewhat disappointing that a SA definite version of Darth Maul wasn't included in the lineup. We're getting him for the Greatest Hits line, but it would have added a core character into the mix.

And why did Hasbro use an Ep.6 pic of Palpatine instead using one of the common holographic Darth Sidious pics?  ???

Found most of this wave at a Wal-Mart in Austin, Texas this afternoon. Pics coming in a minute. They had Obi-Wan, Amidala, Gungan, Holo Sidious, and topless Maul. Bought all 5, but I probably won't open them until tomorrow. Holo Sidious is a HUGE disappointment, as it looks too small.

And they usually give you close to retail on cases and sets of figures ($8 to $9 a pop).  Like Jayson said, that extra $8 to $10 total is worth it to me instead of driving all over the country to find jack squat

I will say though that their single figure prices have skyrocketed in the last few months...and the $12+ they charge is rediculous

I agree.  I've noticed their individual figure prices creeping up more and more with each wave it seems.  I've been ordering sets of the Legacy stuff there, and it isn't much more than retail overall most of the time.  Plus, if I hadn't, I think I'd still be looking for some of both the ESB and AOTC waves, instead of being caught up on those long ago.  The CW stuff I just wait and see if I can find at retail, because I'm picking and choosing and not quite as impatient about that stuff ;).  Actually, in some cases, the prices for Legacy seem to be better than CW there anymore.  I see some of the "sets of 4" for a wave of CW going for $60, which is a little steep.

I just had my order shipped from BBTS today with 1 full case and 5 extra Gungans. While I agree that the individual prices are not too desirable and increasing I am willing to pay to not waste my time searching. The gas, time and traffic avoiding is easily worth an extra $25. If you order the case it's really not bad and the pile of loot option is great!

What really sucks is New Force Comics, D&S Scifi World stopped getting stuff in and taking preorders. They used to be great to order from and always got it before everyone else. While I had all good experiences with them, EE is so slow anymore to get anything in. Plus with no exclusive this year I did not have much incentive to order from them. BBTS is really the only reliable game in town right now. I have everything on preorder from them up to the EU wave. Need I say more about Brian' Toys? Ecommerce as of today does not have reliable/reasonable competition.

If you really stop and think how often stores been getting stuff in, how barren they are and how much SW collector competition there is a few extra bucks seems like a real bargain.

Good news on the gungan warrior, I just opened one up and put him next to the POTJ version, and despite the fact that the new one is SA, they look very very good next to each other.  The new one will mix in very nicely with your existing POTJ gungan army.

There's diversity among them so even if there was a difference, I didn't plan on retiring my dozen or so POTJ figures.  They'll go ok together regardless.  It is neat having an SA one though.

Yeah I know there's diversity, taller ones and shorter ones etc. - but the real issue is that sometimes a new version of a figure comes out and looks just soooo much better than the older version, that the older version looks ridiculous when displayed next to the new version.

For example, POTF2 stormie vs. VOTC stormie, or the VTSC snowtrooper vs. the POTF2 snowie.
Title: Re: Legacy Wave 8 - The Phantom Menace (Fall 2009)
Post by: Jesse James on September 14, 2009, 06:47 PM
Well that goes without saying...  POTJ didn't really have that problem though.  Everything's pretty much good looking and fits in, it's just under-articulated...  POTF2 stuff almost always doesn't look right though.  Very few still fit in with modern stuff from the older eras...  mostly droids.

I dumped mine too but kept the shields so I can mix up the weaponry on the new ones. I have 6 Gungans en rote right now, I have a nice size Gungan Army with x2 Fambaas, The Funky Falumalump Goat Cart & the Catapult.

While I can respect the desire to keep older figures I prefer to liquidate and get the room for newer stuff. I have dumped 85% of all my POTF2 era stuff including vehicles. The stuff is just too dated anymore for my tastes, I try to dump it before the updated versions come out while there is still some value left. (I did that with the Falcon and got $85 for a loose OTC Falcon so it paid for half of the BMF version.) I also have phased out most of the POTJ & AOTC 2002 Saga figures I have outside of Senators, Aliens & 4 static Jedi. I really only want to have 2004 era and up in my collection with a few exceptions.

D&S & NFC back in the day was the knockers, they got stuff a month in advance on average. I really think Hasbro put the screws to them in regards to distribution.

I am really looking forward to this wave, hopefully they will be in hand by weeks end.

I wouldn't expect to see this wave en masse anywhere for at least 2-3 more weeks.

I have found it twice at Target so far and that is it.

I have found the new comic packs and the new battle packs at TRU already, so they are getting new stuff.

But I wouldn't count on being able to walk into TRU and find any TPM figure you want until at least mid-October.

TRU Legacy distribution has been horrible. The last wave that my local store received was the Hoth Wave. Even the Legends waves has been non-existent. My guess is that with the CW's popularity, they're devoting there resources to supporting that line.

Yeah, one would think, but around they got hardly any of the latest CW waves either and have yet to re-stock on those at all. All they have is the old style packaging.

I find it ridiculous that they re-installed their whole CW mega-display section and just threw up bits and pieces of old merchandise. What is the point?

I just cracked these opened up last night, overall nice wave but I was not blown away it's a 50/50 wave.

-Obi-Wan is great, a very well done figure.
- Rum Slegg is a really cool alien that will look very natural in OTC Cantina scenes.
- The Gungun is fantastic blows away the POTJ one. (Only minus is the lack of shield and arm tattoos)
- Sidious Hold Droid thing is really nice, great articulation but it's......not exciting.
- Padme is a salt shaker and really dumb and forgettable. She will make great figure foundation at the bottom of your storage case.
- Pod racer dude  is well done, paint & articulation are top notch but it's a podracer alien and 90% of the are stupid. They rank up there with the SE added Band members. Another figure that will never see the light of display in my collection.
- L8-L9 is very cartoonish but very accurate to the source material. My least favorite BAD but he is good for what he is.

The recent case ratios suck, half the case is loaded with repacks. I am selling these MOC if anyone is interested, there is enough for another L8-L9. Otherwise I will return them to the store when I buy extras of later waves. I also have some Geo extras too. (Sorry for the cheap sale plug but I have to raise some funds to replace all the money spent this week.)

I totally agree, this has to be one of the worst figure sculpts Hasbro has ever done. >:(  I could have sworn this figure was supposed to have real hair with the purple fabric hair net/covering from pictures I had seen of this figure originally, not the awful sculpted purple plastic hair that it has. >:(

Just picked up the Obi-Wan from this wave this morning. A great figure as the sculpting details are solid. My only beef with the figure is that the soft goods portion of the skirt doesn't come close to matching the color of the plastic portion. It looks as if my sample uses the soft goods skirt from the Ep3 Obi-Wan, does anyone else have the same issue? Also a bit of the dye from the robe came off on the figure, got it mostly out but that was a bit of a downer as well. The only other figure I saw from this wave was the Pod Racer and he's a big pass. Too little for too much as they say.

Semi decent wave. Obi Wan's sculpt is pretty off so I hope Hasbro goes back and corrects it at some point (note I'm sure they wil). Rum Sleg probably the 2nd best part of the wave which is odd being he's a background filler character. I don't think the Queen is as bad as many think, but she's not anything to write home about. Cleg- meh...

Now the Gungan I think easily makes the wave. Gorgeous sculpt. Great articulation, Very nice accessories. Winner for sure.

I'm not crazy about how the case packs out though.  There are 6 new figures in the wave, and they're all shipping one to a case.  The rest of the case are a bunch of repacks on the new card.  Definitely fodder for asking WTF?!?!

Same goes for the ROTJ wave as I reported in the other thread. I bought 2 cases of that and 1 of the TPM cases I had 18 figure I really did not need, luckily I was able to a nice chunck. (I resorted to selling the complete BAD's to help pay for them) It's clear that it is Hasbro's answer to revive Legacy sales by having more kid favorite variety. Why it's clear, you have a ROTJ wave with EP2 Anakin, EP2 Obi-wan and Jango Fett repacked in it. Every case for the rest of this year is like that. I expect this to be the "norm" for awhile until sales pick up on the line formally known as core. (It needs a nifty symbol like Prince)

SW2009 = 10% off.  Not much, but it helps.   :)

Found these at TRU today (different store than the one I got the ROTJ wave at) - Buy 2, Get 1 Free.  Been a good week!

I was trying that and two other coupon codes, and they wouldn't apply on my order.  I wonder if some items might be exempt from the coupon codes.  So I cancelled my order.

I ordered the whole wave - no coupon codes work for me either.  I have no confidence that TLC will show up this fall in any great numbers, so I'm ordering everything online.  Stores here are stuffed with CW, which sells, or TLC wave 5, which doesn't.

I finally saw one figure from this wave at Wal-Mart last night, Obi-Wan Kenobi. I couldn't get myself excited enough to buy it though, so I just left it there. :-X

Thank the sweet Gods, I finally nabbed my Rumsleg today. Target just stocked the pegs this morning with the TPM Wave. What a huge ******* relief.

No sign of ROTJ Wave...

It worked on my Titanium order and those three ships are cherry picked out of a repack case just like the figures are.  Wonder why it wouldn't apply to those.

Got the whole wave today at Target. Was my third and final store of the day and the first time I've seen any of them beyond the repacks.

Got Amidala...  I really don't care about Amidala's many outfits, and at $8 a pop I would've probably passed other than the droid part and not knowing who is repacked with this one in particular.

Eh, it's a start...  I'm looking forward to, basically, everyone else when I find them.

I finally found Rum Sleg today to finish this wave off...

Now to just find the other comic packs and the Target 2-packs...

I can't wait for this draw down in product quantity.

I've found two of the Obi-Wan's recently, and the likeness is not all that great.  Shame since they got Ewan's face dead on in the AOTC version and Alec Guinness's on the ANH version from earlier this year.  Plus, what's up with the grey trousers?  They were white in the movie IIRC.

Still a nice figure, just comes up a bit short.

I actually like the likeness a lot...  They even got that wart on his forehead/brow area.

I think it is pretty good though...  The braid seems a tad long, but I'm pleased with this figure top to bottom.  Ball joint hips would've been nice, ala AOTC Obi, since TPM Obi's pretty acrobatic.  I'll live without those though.

Mine is currently f'ing up some Droids on my scanner.

I'm really diggin' the Obi-Wan...just don't like his unpainted lightsaber!  >:(

And I'm gonna post it here since it's part of the TPM case, but, from the Jawa w/ WED droid 2-pack, can the little canister thingy he has and that black backpack-like thing (attached to the ion gun) be stored on the vest/belt at the same time?? I see only one hole on the vest, but can't find another.

Don't get me wrong.  I do like the new Obi-Wan figure, I just think it could've been a little bit better.

Since my callsign is Obi-Wan, it's become a major focus in my collection (just look at my collection thread), and I tend to really scrutinize the Obi-Wans in my collection.

Downfalls aside overall it's a fine looking figure and should be in all our collections.  If it just had a ball-jointed hips this figures would make us all proud to own it.  Go Kenobi you rock!  Yeah!

Yes, a bit lit right now  ;D

Opened my set today:

Obi Wan: Kind of a let down.  Like everyone has said, the articulaton is there, not quite as good as AOTC Obi.  The elbow joints don't even have enough range of motion to allow him to hold the saber with both hands effecively (at least on mine) and that's annoying as hell.

Queen Amidala: Missing a lot of paint detail - they usually put a lot of effort in replicating the elaborate outfits Padme wears, but just missed it.

Clegg Holdfast: I like him, and he's a good background figure, but I really wanted Ratts.

Gungan Warrior: Fantastic figure.  I love the accessories.  Got two.

Darth Sidious: I really like this.  It's inventive and unique among figure offerings, and I don't think it's too slight to be a figure (no more so than Clegg).

Rum Sleg: The figure of the wave.  A really great effort, and a figure that for me was starting to reach Wedge status (remember when POTF2 began, and we all had the figure they had to do?).

I'm happy with this figure - at first, I was like, "Who the hell is this guy?" Glad Hasbro made him, the colors are vibrant, the sculpt is excellent, and the character design is 100% great.

Yay! I got Obi-Wan!  :D I only saw the Gungan, Clegg Holdfast, and Jawa from this case assortment, and I've already bought Gungan and Jawa before....

I'm somewhat disappointed!  :'( To me, his body seems totally disproportioned! I think he looks better with his cloak on - glad Hasbro included it! Don't care too much about the likeness whether it's not good or not.

Rum Slegg has to be one of the coolest background aliens from the PT - the mystery factor isnt as high as say Boba Fett, but the buzz for the figure is huge.  I've had a heck of a time trying to find him, each time I saw remnants of the wave, he was always gone - so I tried a store called Kohls and found one there - its worth checking out if anyone else cant find him as well...

I had a hard time tracking my rum down as well.  Kohl's has come in pretty handy these past few holiday years on toys - at least for me.  It's the only retailer out there that I was able to find the ROTF ice cream truck at.

You guys are lucky to find remnants of the TPM wave ... my local stores are mostly getting the ROTJ wave, and I still new a few figs from the TPM wave  :(. If I could only get one more figure from the TPM wave, it'd be that cool-as-hell Rum Slegg!

I stopped at Kohl's this weekend after reading your comment but they only had Yarna, Stass, and the Organas.  ::)

Did we really need MORE stores carrying those? Ugh.

This is what I was hoping to find out at Toy Fair.  Given that the vintage TPM wave doesn't hit until 2011, it's going to be a while.  I assume he'll be in that wave.  I'd be let down if he wasn't.

Yeah, the next TPM wave is slotted for Spring 2011.  They would not say at Toy Fair if Ratts would make the cut for that one.  We will likely find that out at Celebration 5 as that's when they plan to give us some scoop on Spring 2011 waves.

Hey Jeff - did they give any indication on why they didn't give us a peak at the ROTS wave (Vintage Wave 2)?

Because they had to save stuff for SDCC and C5.

It sounded like SDCC will have Waves 2-3 (RotS, RotJ) and possibly Wave 4 (AotC).  Then C5 would have Wave 4 (if it didn't make SDCC) and previews for Waves 5-6 (ANH, TPM).

While I do understand them holding things back, but why they have revealed figures like this:

Toy Fair: Wave 1 (ESB) and Wave 2 (ROTS)
SDCC: Wave 3 (ROTJ) and Wave 4 (AOTC)
C5: Wave 5 (ANH) and Wave 6 (TPM)

Seems like poor planning if you ask me.

I recently visited a local Target and was both pleased and disappointed...

What pleased me was that at least 2 cases of the TPM wave had been stocked - Obi-Wan, Amidala, Rum Sleg, Sidious, every figure from that wave. I had never seen Holo Sid, Rummy, and Amidala on the pegs before. And I finally scored Rum Sleg!  ;D (Hate his awkwardly sculpted legs...)

Now what disappointed me was the sight of this wave, altogether. Why? Because this wave was released August 2009. And I have NOT, at all, at this Target, ever seen the ROTS and ESB waves. I doubt this Target will ever get them, and I have no doubt that this situation is unique to this store only. The Legacy situation has become so bad that I regret to say that some stores won't even be able to catch up with new (now somewhat old) waves after gluts of pegwarmers are finally moved. I'm glad the line is starting fresh, because it'll be a way to finally move all the stagnant product.

I got a Rum Sleg/Sidious Hologram Chair Blockbuster two pack last week.  Those 2 packs have helped me get a lot of figures I otherwise would have skipped on.  Anyway, they had most of the wave in 2 packs there but this was the only one I bought.  Funds a bit low lately.

I have seen TPM wave as well lately...  Not a ton, but TRU had 2-packs and I've seen singles at other stores.  This, a wave that was non-existant here when it first came out.  It's the 2nd time I've seen Rum Sleg on the pegs of a normal retailer at all now, the only other time at K-Mart.

I've seen the Blockbuster 2-packs semi-frequently, and, to my dismay, every time I had seen them they were minus one figure. Each pack had been torn in half.  :(

Picked up my first prequel figure today.   I've decided the Gungan Warrior figure is one of my favorite modern SW figures, its incredible.
