Since we have a thread on Fine Molds 1/72 Scale Model Kits (http://www.jedidefender.com/yabbse/index.php?topic=7774.0), Fine Molds is coming out with a 1/144 scale Millennium Falcon which I thought deserved it's own thread.
Bigbadtoystore has this 1/144 Millennium Falcon (http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=FMS10010&mode=retail) model kit up for preorder for $74.99 with a release date in late April.

More pictures can be seen over at HLJ where it was shown at the Winter Wonder Festival 2010 in Japan.
Small-Scale Falcon from Fine Molds (http://www.hlj.com/wonfesw10.html)
According to the HLJ link, this Falcon might be a little over 7 3/4 inches long.
Not a bad price considering the 1/72 scale Millennium Falcon that came out a few years ago commands a hefty price of $375. plus.

I'm interested in smaller scale kits... Fine Molds has really been unmatched in their quality, so I expect more of the same. 1/144 is tiny though, but I'm expecting some bigger ships now getting made. SSD's, SD's, MCC's... A lot of that has never been done with any quality detail to it, so I'm curious what they may try.

HLJ has this listed for an Early Bird special for 3,995 yen or about $43.89 US.
Preorder by Mar. 30 to get 15% off the regular price of 4,700 yen!

HLJ also has 1/144 Star Wars Vehicle Collection #3 (http://www.hlj.com/product/FTS60085) instock for $49.44 for a box of 10.
Here's the past series which is now discontinued.

Yeah those 1/144 sets of ships have been on my "to-buy" list as they're insanely accurate for their scale, and the secret ones are especially rockin' "EU" ships. Having a Falcon to match would be quite interesting.
