Red Leader ARC Trooper?  Don't recall him off-hand.

Kashyyk Warrior?  AKA Chewbacca?

New Pics!

Looks like "Kashyyyk Warrior" = Chewbacca as some were speculating...  also, JarJar is just a repack.

AWESOME wave.  I definitely like what they did with Chewbacca here.  And Even Piell came out pretty well, too.  Also happy to see that we're getting the armored version of Savage Opress.  Lately I've been feeling like both Lucasfilm AND Hasbro have been a bit too fond of both Savage and Darth Maul going shirtless all the time.

Holy moly, I'll happily dish out the $9+ for Savage! I like that Hasbro seems to have put more effort into this sculpt than the shirtless version - with soft-goods, and even the headsculpt on this armored version looks truer to the show. I hate that Hasbro's continuing the trend of short lightsaber blades! >:(

What is the best likeness of Chewbacca ever, and the best bowcaster ever, doing in the Clone Wars line?

I don't collect Clone Wars, but I'm buying that one.

I agree, that Chewie is awesome, especially the bowcaster. Very vintage-y looking.  :)

I see a fairly neat Chewbacca that  probably cannot sit. (Anyone thinking "BUT HE DIDN'T SIT IN THE EPISODE"...can jump in a Sarlacc pit  >:D)  Hard to tell if he has wrist joints or not.

Even Piel looks to have knees at least...probably more articulation than Bariss Offee

Opress looks nice, but again...short of perfect, thanks to no poseable ankles on an action character. His hips may ball jointed, that might help.

At least the astro droid still has ankle joints.  :P

Love the Chewie figure, looks great.  Honestly, I was thinking about scaling way back or even stopping with the CW stuff (outside of OT characters like Chewie, or occasional one-offs like Savage), but seeing this lineup for the Fall waves has me reconsidering.  A lot of this stuff really looks nice.

They are great looking figures for sure...  I'll probably nab Savage and that's all, and probably only because he is black and gold and all that stuff.

I still prefer VOTC/EB Chewbacca figures...  That is a pretty slick Bowcaster though.

Fantastic wave...Chewbacca is a Grand Slam, IMO...that Bowcaster alone is freaking epic. Whoever is designing those things is earning his dough for sure, first Embo's and now this.

Piell looks really nice too, and armored Savage is predictably awesome.

This whole line seems to be peaking right now in terms of the sculpts, if not articulation.

Some figures of late and this wave here actually make me want to collect the Clone Wars line more.  Plus, I am not having much luck finding vintage figures that I want.  So, maybe I'll focus on CW for awhile.  Anyway, they are getting better with the CW figures now that they have put some articulation in the figures.  I know a lot of them don't have ankle and BJ hip articulation but I don't really expect them to in this kid-friendly line.  I just think some overall design of the characters are bit more interesting in this line lately.

Savage - I like this version much more than the shirtless one.  However, my son likes the shirtless figure more.  He'll end up with both, but I could see some kids really digging the shirtless, tatoo look on both Darth Maul and Savage.

Chewbacca - I actually like the Early Bird sculpt on the Chewbaccas we have got in the movie line.  However, this Chewy sculpt looks fantastic for either line.  I will probably pick up a few if I can.

Piell - I really like Piell in the CW cartoons he was in.  I think the figure does him justice well.  I like the accessory as well.  I don't want anymore resculpts of him in the regular movie line though.

Astromech Droid - I don't want it.  There is nothing wrong with but just kind of tired of that color scheme and astromechs in general.

Rex Jetpack - That figure looks fantastic!  I will buy that one.

Jar Jar - Got him already.

Red Leader ARC Trooper - I thought he was Commander Colt?  I could be wrong.  I don't have a good grasp on all of the CW characters.  Either way I love the design/color scheme on him and will buy it when I see it.

R7-D4 has got to be a new BAD mold for clone wars.  Look at the joint st his shoulders, and the small hole on the side at the bottom.

I actually put an order for this case. I do not buy CW figures but there are too many in this case that is just too cool to pass on. i love that Chewie and plan to use then Even Peill for the movie one. It's a much better figure than the peper shaker we currently have.

So this wave has been found, but has anyone here seen it?  I know I haven't.  My stores just got a lot of some of th recent waves though, like the one with Colt and stuff.

I'm on vacation in DE, which sucks because I am seem to be stuck here when new stuff is hitting and this state is a Toy Wasteland. I mean, they have like one TRU within 1000 miles of me, it's ridiculous. There are NO Targets and only a small handful of Walmarts about. I plan to try and check at least one of them this week, but I really won't be able to hunt in earnest until returning back to VA next week.

I am hoping these are just sporadic occurences...would suck to miss the boat entirely on account of vacation.

No worries - per the other posts, hardly anyone has found these yet.

I passed on Chewbacca, Even Piell and R7-D4 when I saw them today at a K-Mart store.  $9.19 a figure?  No way at that price.

JTA is postulating that there may be multiple version of Chewie shipping, with variant paint apps. Anyone else notice this?

I have at least 2 of them that look more or less the same, but I do recall when seeing them for the first time thinking "that's not nearly as dark in the face as everyone was complaining about."

Running change maybe?
