Title: Special offer ships
Post by: Reconsgt on March 28, 2003, 04:10 PM
I know there were special offers on the vehicles in the vintage line that included figs in the box.
I swear  I saw one in the potf2 line as well.
Does anyone know a listing of what was offered as packins in the foreign releases that normally didn't include a fig?

I know there is a POTF2, trilogo (UK Kenner) TIE Fighter that came with a free Stormtrooper. It was in a red/orange saber box.

Also an X-Wing Fighter that came with a free Luke Skywalker (X-Wing Pilot) figure with POTF2 trilogo (UK Kenner) in red/orange box.

Both have a diamond shaped sticker or it's printed (can't really tell from the small photo I am looking at) on the box in the upper right corner with a green border. It says 'Free Figure' in white type that overlaps the figure that will be found inside the box, with the vehicle. This is from pps. 352 & 353 in the 'Star Wars Super Collector's Wish Book: Identification and Values' by Geoffrey T. Carlton.

Those are verifiable and definite releases. Those are the only 2 I can come up with at the moment...
