Here's hoping that the variant for the Nolan Ryan is the METS piece. That will make all 4 teams he played on then!!!

Jayson -

Thanks for the custom piece. It looks awesome. I just have to figure out where I am going to put it.

Also the Bobby "The Brain" Heanan figure is a much appreciated pick up as well.

Revenge of the Sith / Re: Battle Pack Error's
« on: September 14, 2005, 11:24 AM »
I think it is clear they just don't care.

"Hasbro: **** You, Pay Us."

I think this sums it up rather well!!!

In the last 6 months there have been a TON of errors that Hasbor has done. Either out os stupidity or sheer laziness. Hasbro wonders why the toy market is dying and they are loosing money just like all other toy company's...it's because they don't care about their customers!!!

Revenge of the Sith / Battle Pack Error's
« on: September 13, 2005, 12:42 PM »
We have all heard of the error on the Battle Pack of the Jedi vs. Sith that say's STORMTROOPER Armor instead of Clonetrooper. This past weekend I purchased 2 more battle packs and noticed a few errors.

Emperor's Throne Room

This is the front of the battle pack, but if you will look at the back you will notice that there is a different DIGNITARY shown. (circled in RED)

Hoth Assult

But if you look at the back of the box the General Veers shown is the VINTAGE figure not the one that was previously released. (circled in RED)

The fact that there are 3 battle packs with errors and the Clone trooper Evolution pack has a spelling error on it (Hasbro put REBUBLIC instead of REPUBLIC) that Hasbro's quality control is either going to crap or they don't give a ****.

Toy Biz is relaunching the FF line??? What the heck is up with that?

Active Lines

Marvel Legends
Spider-Man Classic
FF Movie
Spider-Man 2 Movie

Dead Lines

Hulk Classics (Only got a couple of releases of toys from this, but after all the movie hype died so did the life expectancy of this toy line)
X-Men (Only got 1 release of toys, rumored there was a second but again, after the movie hype died so did this toy line)

I am just a little lost as to why on earth Toy Biz would go and rehash an old line of toys that didn't do well when it was released when there was a Saturday morning cartoon? Especially since F4 was about as commercially successful as Daredevil. After all the toes for the F4 movie can still be found in great quantity on shelves except for the IW and they never even made a Dr. Doom figure (he was shown in the commercials for the movie toys).

IMOPO

If Toy Biz wants to release more toys like this then they should expand the Marvel Legends to a large line. Make more series of the toys and release them in waves. Similar in nature to Star Wars toys. Do a set of 15 figures, with different quantities in different case assortments, release them for a 2-3 months and then wait for 3-4 months and release a new wave. They just have to get away from these 6 months between sets.

*Taking my soapbox with me and leaving my 2 cents at the door!*

I think they should make more Jawa's so you can recreate this set.

Toy Biz really has missed the boat on the FF figures. After all you can find how many different Spider-Man figures, and how many different X-Men figures when the movies came out? But when it comes to FF you get 2 different HT, Things, and MF, and 3 different paints of IW, but no bad guys!! WHAT THE ****!!!
